Most people would say John Cena. But he isn't. He's 30 something. Some people would say Batista. He is like 37. Some people would say Rene Dupree. But his attitude is very poor and i can't see the admin/roster wanting him around for long.
Sadly, I said Randy Orton. His attitude is also poor but I hear he is getting better, unlike some Frenchies I know of. He has skill, no doubt about it and I think he will be the future. Along with Carlito, Christian, Muhammad Hassan and Paul London.

I think Chris may be right
Batista is two or so years younger than Taker, the difference being that Taker has been wrestling for a good 15 years (at least). Whereas Batista has been around for 4-5 years (first time I saw him was Judgement Day '01). Wrestling can absolutely destroy your joints and Taker is worn out at like 40. But Batista has been wrestling for less tim and he is in better condition so I think we could be seeing Batista still around in 7 or 8 years, not just 5

Thats a big call but you could be right but IMO batista wont last as long as yous'e think!
disturbed i also have to agree about... whats happening to the WWE?... you just cant see any "hogans", HHH's, The rocks coming through!!... they COULD be in trouble in the future... but they will find someone... im sure of it!

I reckon'
First thing I'd do is have Cena lose his title (here me out)
I'd take the title away and bring back the Hardcore div. and let him win that. I think he would be a solid hardcore fighter and he could win a lot more respect in that regard.
Next up the divas would wear less clothes and i would ban Torrie and Michelle McCool from talking altogether and only let Maria talk no shouting. Then i'd get Lillian, Trish, Christy, Melina and Lita to talk more. They have nice voices, unlike Whorrie Wilson.
And finally Benoit would become SD! Champion, Hussan would go back to Raw and everyone would bow to Danny, saviour of WWE

Cena is supposedly the same age as The Rock (says EWR profile) but then again, it says Batista is the same age as them two too...
Carlito will also be the future. You can see he has a lot of talent, the WWE see's that ~giving him titles in his debut mathes and all~ so hopefully he will be a ME-er soon enough. and that...that would be cool.!
