Wrestlers Stage Name: Matt 'The Money' Hare
Wrestlers Real Name: Haretio McTagget
Hometown: Redcliffe, QLD
DOB: 1/10/80
Heel or Face: Heel
Style: High flying/technical (Eg: AJ Styles)
Gimmick: Rich egomaniac.
Ring Attire: See 'Attire' thread in OOC board.
Backstage/Casual Attire: I usually specify this in my RPs, because of my unusual obsession with image but if you're desperate...just have me wearing a black suit with white undershirt and black tie. That one never gets old. I usually include what I'm wearing in any RPs/Matches/Stats that I write...so just use what I write.
Entrance: "Alright" by Supergrass sounds over the speakers and Matt Hare emerges from the curtains, looking very proud and cocky. The ring flashes orange, green and purple as he walks down the aisleway wearing his -.-.-.- tights and his ring jacket. He walks up the ring steps, looks at the crowd and jumps over the top rope, landing on the bottom turnbuckle. He then raises his arms to the crowd, who continue to boo him

Small Back story: Haretio grew up in a middle-class home on the Redcliffe Peninsula with his mother, father and twin brother, Gregory. For schoolies in 1997, Haretio and his brother went to Mexico where they met up with a mad-keen wrestling fan. This fan took the brothers, who were not too fussed about professional wrestling, to a local show - AAA TripleMania V-B. This show was where Haretio realised that his future was not in accounting, but in professional wrestling. He began training in January 1998, then got his first match in February 1999, in the promotion SEW in Japan. In his first match he won the SEW Television title and stayed undefeated for 8 months, winning the Hardcore and World Titles - but was forced to give all three up due to a broken arm in early November. During his rehabilitation, he attracted some heat backstage so decided to leave the promotion on Christmas Eve 1999. After letting his arm heal and taking a rest in 2000, he made his way around the indy scene from June 2000 through til January 2004, when he signed a development deal with Ring of Honour. After graduating in late October, he turned down a written contract with the company and headed to Mexico to wrestle for the promotion that motivated him in the first place, AAA. He only wrestled three matches in AAA - his first ina triple threat match against Psicosis and Electroshock. His second in a 6-man tag mactch, partnering with Juvetud Guerrera and (El)Zorro to take on Fuezera Guerrera, Electroshock and Heavy Metal. And his last in a fatal four way for the UWA World Light Heavyweight Title against Juvetud Guerrera, Abismo Negro and Mr Aguila. Then, on a trip home in December 2004, he was approached by a talent scout for a future promotion - DUEW. He signed a 6 month contract with them and debuted at the second ever Sunburn show in a tag team TLC match with partner jonathon Rio taking on Nicho "Z" and Knightmare, where he won the tag titles. His career only went up from there, but in October 2005, decided to quit the company and head back to the USA, signing a development deal with WWE. Winning the OVW Television title later that month as a masked lucha-lubre known as 'El Haretio Australias' and losing it two weeks later. Hare didn't think the wrestler was worthy for him to drop the bet to, so they had a backstage brawl at one of the tapings. Both men were then released from their contracts and Haretio McTaggett returned to DUEW as his with the name Matt 'The Money' Hare.
