The cameras return from a commercial break to the arena as the lights start to change into a blue haze as a heartbeat can be heard in the arena. The crowd begins to go crazy as the screen starts to flicker with static and random lightening strikes, the heartbeat growing louder and more intense. Suddenly the beat stops through the speakers and a series of lightning bolts strike the entrance area sending a cloud of smoke streaming into the air.
"Darkside" hits the arena as Nightmare alongside Paul Bearer, makes his way to the ring on the War Zone as he gets ready for his match against Deranged at Spring Break. Nightmare starts to bring the lights back to normal as Paul Bearer goes to get a microphone from the girl sitting near the announce table.
Nightmare: My reason for being here is the same as so many others that have walked through that door, I have come here to prove to the world what the Darkside has to offer and to be the World Champion. DUEW is the premier wrestling federation in the world and allowing me to compete on this stage was something that Mr. Howard had. he had balls to allow a man of my power, my mind, my past, to enter the ring and show the World what the Nightmare is all about.
Nightmare: So right now I am taking this opportunity to let everyone in the back know that, who ever you are, whatever past you have, Lemmy is in my eyes, and i will become the 2 time DUEW Champion.
**The crowd throws a pop and continues to listen, looks like they actually want to hear what he has to day. Nightmare for a moment to make eye contact with some of the fans before continuing on.**
Nightmare Yes it is true that I want to be the champion, I want to be every champion on every stage that this federation has to offer. I want to be tested by every substantial name that this place has to offer, and find out if Nightmare is truly the toughest soul on the block.
Nightmare: I have done my time without the World title and heard the whisper of a great individual, a man standing within arena, he is Lemmy Campbell, the man and his World Championship belt speaks for itself. That is the place that I want to venture to, the place that I want my name to stand within. Regardless of whether this ever gets back to him I want that rematch, one on one, as soon as humanly possibly, and feel what separate him from just another wrestler, to what being the man that he is.
Nightmare: But for starters, for starters i have something to take care of, something thats been up my stream for long enough. Deranged!
**the crowd boo as Nightmare says Deranged**
Nightmare: You got what you wanted, now that i'm not the World Champion anymore, i cannot instruct certain people what to do, you may have chickend out of facing Kane to face me, but i vowed my thoughts to Mr. Howard, and we have the very match you wanted at the PPV, a No DQ match. All that anger you and I have for each other from the past can be fianlly let go, and i for one will make sure you will not leave Spring Break with your two legs in place, i will destroy you Deranged, and i will get back my World Title.
Nightmare: Even tho my body hasnt been holding up since Wacky Wednesday and my doctors have told me that i shouldnt be even competing at the moment with my injuries, theres somethng in me that wont let me stop, it isnt just pride for what i do here, it isnt the ammount of swet and tears i put into the ring for the fans, its Mr Howard.
**the crowd's cheers turn to mixed boos and cheers as Nightmare starts to smirk**
Nightmare: He was the one that allowed myself, Kane and Paul Bearer to enter the world of DUEW. Without him signing the dotted line, this company would have gone down in flames and woken up in ashes. Dont belive me? Have a look.
**The footage shows on the titantron of the matches before Nightmare's debut, with nothing wrong, we go back to Nightmare in the ring**
Nightmare: See the problem? There wasnt enough balls put into anything, if it wasnt for Nightmare or Kane, this company would have been stuck on the Entertainment Era, DUEW isnt about Entertainment only, its about matches, hard fought matches that we all put on every single night of the week.
JJ: Give me a break, Entertainment Era? DUEW would be a much safer place without Nightmare or Kane.
Nightmare: So if anyone has a problem with what i said, or Deranged if you have a problem with what i'm going to do to you come Spring Break, i say you bring all your asses out to this ring right now!
