The show opens not with the usual theme song or video but a special one.
“VIVA LA RASA”
Instead of the usual shots of DUEW superstars a short video of Eddie Guererro plays, with his theme song playing out at the same time. When the video stops a picture of Eddie comes onto the screen, with the words “Eddie Guerrero, 1967-2005 R.I.P”
As the picture faded the shot moved to the ring. The entire DUEW roster was standing on the apron, with a easel set up in the ring, on which a picture of Eddie was standing, underneath of this was a wreath, with “Eddie- ’67-‘05”
Mr. Howard says that everyone needed to pay due respects. A minute of silence was held and then Mr. Howard dedicated the Rumble tonight to Eddie Guerrero and that all profits from the merchandise sold from www.duew.tk would go to Eddie’s family.
Mr. Howard then explained the match rules. He said that he had personally chosen two men to begin the match. He pointed to Lover and to Shadow also, saying that Lover could show everyone tonight that he deserved his Australian title and show people he was better than Shadow and didn’t need his help. Mr. Howard then said that every 1 minute a new entry would enter. He explained the rest of the entries where to be randomly chosen and the superstars wouldn’t know until they heard their music play. When it played they would have to run to the ring.
Everything seemed settled and people were set to leave before Luda proceeded to take a mike up. He spoke directly to Lover, telling him that since they were tag champs he had Lovers back. He told him he would start the match against Shadow. Lover didn’t get a chance to get a word in sideways as Mr. Howard said it was a great idea. So he told Shadow to get ready to face Luda.
All the men went to the locker room and got ready for the match. After an ad break we found Shadow already in the ring. Then Ludacris played out and Luda walked out with his half of the tag gold. Luda and Shadow went to work in the ring and it was a very quick squash. Luda took Shadow to the corner straight away and pummeled him with his fists. He hit him with about 30 punches before bouncing Shadow to the ropes as Shadow came back to Luda Shadow tried a clothesline but Luda dodged to the side and then followed Shadow with his own clothesline, sending Shadow cluttering out of the ring with still 20 seconds till the next entry.
After twenty seconds “Shadow on the Sun” by Audioslave played out and Lance ran out, flexing his muscles as he did so. As he slid in Luda backed away a bit. Lance went to shake Luda’s hand but Luda only tapped it. Luda tried to lock up with Lance but Lance refused, moving from him each time. A minute went by and suddenly the sound of glass smashing rings out and not only Stone Cold but Lemmy too run out to the ring.
They get in and Lance and Luda immediately team up, knocking Lemmy to the floor as soon as he got in. Lance then took Stone Cold to one side of the ring and Luda took Lemmy to the other side. They Irish whip them into each other and then as they stumbled backwards Lance and Luda both hit Atomic Drops. Lemmy was the first to come back and he charged Luda but was knocked down by a spinning wheel kick. Stone Cold then came at Lance but he was met by a Double Axe Handle Clothesline.
A minute had gone by but nobody new came out as it was Lemmy’s music. Back in the ring Luda had just whipped Stone Cold to Lance, who held him in his arms ready to hit a Sidewalk Slam. After Luda had whipped him over he ran to the ropes. He jumped in the air just before he got to Lance and they hit a simultaneous Leg drop and Sidewalk Slam. Lance then charged at Lemmy and hit a Big Boot on him. As Lemmy stood up Luda and Lance threw him over the ropes at the same time
Another minute has passed and “All Along the Watchtower” by Jimi Hendrix plays out, with Joey quickly following it. He is in his old ring attire and makes his way to the ring slowly. This gives Luda and Lance enough time to dispose of Stone Cold. As Joey got through the ropes Lance pointed viciously at him. Luda saw this as a direction to attack Joey and as Luda was going for Joey, Lance hit him in the back of the head. Luda turned around and was furious
While Luda was shouting at Lance, who was saying he didn’t mean it, Joey had climbed the turnbuckle. He dived off, hitting a Missile Dropkick into the back of Luda. Luda went flying into Lance, knocking him over too. Joey leaned against the ropes and looked innocent as Lance quickly got up. This time Lance was furious. He asked Joey what had happened and he pointed at Luda, who was now getting up. Lance stomped Luda into the ground and began to work over Luda.
Another minute had passed by and Bret Hart came out to “You Start the Fire”. He walked down the ramp at a fast pace and pointed at Joey, who gestured for him to come to the ring. Bret did so and the two began a vicious fist fight.
Another minute passed and this time Pyro came out. He came in and was a destructive force. He clotheslined Luda, Lance and Joey before using the “Ultimate Hit” on Bret. When Pyro turned around Luda, Lance and Joey were all ready for him. Joey Super Kicked him, sending him to the ropes. He bounced back into Lance. Lance lifted him onto his shoulder and planted him face first into the mat, hitting the “L-Bomb”. By this stage Luda is on the top turnbuckle. He dives off and does a 360 flip, driving his knees into Pyro, hitting his finisher. By this stage Bret is back up and the four of them pick Pyro up into the air
While this is happening “In the End” by Linkin’ Park hits and Nicho “Z” comes out to a huge ovation. As Pyro is getting thrown out Nicho is getting into the ring. As Lance is turning Nicho hits a running elbow to the face on him. Nicho then tries to knock down the other 3 but when Lance gets up the force of four men is too much. They are kicking him as he is on the ground and it is a complete physical mugging
A minute passes and the same thing happens, with Jayle entering the ring.
Another minute goes by and now 6 men are teaming on Nicho, this time hitting real wrestling moves on him. The newest entrant, Jimmy, has brought a replica of his didgeridoo to the ring. He smashes it into Nicho’s stomach, before throwing it to a crowd member. As he has his back turned around Jayle goes for him but Lance keeps his promise and watches Jimmy’s back. Before a blink of the eye Jayle is thrown out by Lance.
As another minute passes by the beating on Nicho is still continuing. However panic ensues in the ring when Disturbed’s music plays out. Disturbed charges to the ring and in the mayhem Bret is thrown out.
When Disturbed comes in all out mayhem breaks lose. Disturbed first rescues Nicho from the beating and then knocks Nicho from the ring himself.
Finally the last entrant comes in and it is Lover. Lover starts fighting Lance and the fights in the ring look like this:
Lance against Lover, Luda and Disturbed against Joey and Jimmy in the corner surveying the damage.
Lance and Lover end up on the apron together and takes each other to the fall, Lance landing a few seconds before Lover.
Now Jimmy has joined Joey and is up against Luda and Disturbed. Disturbed takes Jimmy down with a Dizzy Bomb and then does the same to Joey. Disturbed whispers something in Luda’s ear and Luda smiles and nods. Disturbed heads to the top rope as Luda stands behind Joey.
Joey gets up and is kicked in the stomach, before Luda starts delivering suplexes, three amigos style. On the last one Luda screams out, “OLE VATO HOLMES”. Then on the top turnbuckle Disturbed slaps his chest three times and screams out “VIVA LA RASA”. Disturbed dives off of the top turnbuckle and hits a Frog Splash perfectly onto Joey.
Luda and Disturbed embrace afterwards and Disturbed is really happy. However before he can stop it Luda has taken Disturbed over the top rope. Before Luda leaves the ring he grabs the top rope and hangs on for dear life. Disturbed clutters to the floor as Luda hangs on tightly.
Back in the ring Jimmy is up and sees Luda. By accident Luda ‘skins the cat’ right onto Jimmy, who has charged at him, and locks his legs around his head. He pulls out f the ring and drags Jimmy onto the apron. They both hang onto the apron and are getting up when they see Joey charging them. They duck down and pull the top rope together. Joey goes sailing out of the ring and onto the hard floor.
Jimmy and Luda are both up straight away and are trading blows on the apron. Jimmy hits a very big punch and Luda and puts a few metres between them. Jimmy then tries to clothesline Luda off of the apron but Luda hits a Back Body Drop on Jimmy. Luda falls off of the apron and the two hit the floor a couple of metres away from each other, at the same time.
One ref raises Jimmy’s arm and another raises Luda’s. No one knows what is going on until “No Chance” hits the speakers and Mr. Howard strides out to the top of the ramp. The music quickly cuts out and Mr. Howard makes an announcement.
He says that tonight three people are eliminated from the tournament. Those three are the first three eliminated, Shadow, Lemmy and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
He then explains what is happening for the next week. He tells them that the tournament will be broken into three groups. Group C is going to consist of the people who were eliminated first after the last three. Those three are Pyro, Jayle, Bret Hart and Nicho. He tells them that they will be participating in a tag team match. They aren’t to know the stipulations of the match but only that people will be eliminated. He also tells them that whoever there partner is will be a surprise.
He then explains the idea of Group C. He says that it will consist of the next four who were eliminated, Lance, Mr. Lover, Disturbed and Joey. He says that we will see Lance v Lover and Disturbed v Joey Malone. He again says that no one will know the stipulations.
Then he moves to Group A. He announces that the Rumble was a tie between Luda and Jimmy. He then says that Group A consists only of these two men who won the Rumble. He tells them they are going head to head and that the winner would get an unexpected surprise. Mr. Howard laughs and “No Chance” plays as Luda and Jimmy stare each other down to end the show
FINISH
NOTE: The elimination was based on your scores from the roleplays. I have also put the groups in this order. I am glad that everyone who roleplayed stayed in competition.
