Well I laugh at the fact you think AFL is most popular!! At Sydney WMR the whole crowd booed when Chris Masters said AFL
I still maintain that you are wrong and I will find the stats!

Find the stats..... obviouslt you havnt been out of sydney because sydney is the only state that hasnt got good AFL supporters!... go to perth (AFL crazy)... go to melbourne (AFL everywhere you go)... queensland not as much but still has a good support for AFL!

So many more people go to AFL games than NRL. Before Suncorp stadium, the average crowd for the Bronco's was 10-12 000, whereas at that time the Lions were getting 32-34 000 per game!
Now Suncorp is up, the crowds are bigger but they only get around the same crowds as Lions, and this is meant to by a Rugby League State!!!!

yeah and here in perth ... rugby is never EVER brought up... ats all AFL!.... and its pretty much the same in melbourne!

If i would go for any team in australian soccer, it would be glory but il nevver follow them and i wouldnt care how they are doing!... But with Liverpool (champions for the 5th time) i do follow them and support them and i have for about 6 years now!.... but thats the only team/competition i follow!

sarah it isnt a matter of life and death but i could not live without AFL (like alot of other people), i was so stupid to even start this thread up because AFL is the better sport!... end of thread!! |
