OK, there is a few things I don't get about this whole up-and-coming ECW PPV.
1st. Why are they having the PPV in NYC? Shouldn't they have it in Philly, the original town of ECW?
2nd. Why did they put Mven on the team to try and destroy ECW when Simon Dean will be participating in the PPV as a wrestler on ECW's side?? WTF
3rd. I hate fans who chant E-C-Dub when they aren't even ECW fans. I have only seen the Rise+Fall DVD, but that is barely anything and that's probably what the other 95% of people chanting E-C-Dub have ever seen!! It's so annoying

LOL, I got a good laugh out of that! Maybe it could be the end of Simon Dean and Maven.. hmmm.. I own two PPV's and The Rise + Fall Of ECW, but even I wouldn't be able to say that I'm a "true fan" of ECW - I love what I've seen, of course. But what you said is so true. Kids in the audience who weren't even alive when ECW was are chanting "E-C-DUB! E-C-DUB! E-C-DUB!" like they're oh so familiar with the product. It's really stupid. |

to tell you the truth i was never i real ECW fa, but i also have only seen "the rise and fall of ECW" and it was a fkin good dvd, probly the 2nd best i got (after the monday night wars)

I havent seen any of the ECW DVDs and by no means do I consider myself a ECW fan. However I love the sound of flaming table matches and 8 man ladder matches

The PPV was fucking awesome! My favourites were the triple threat match with Tajiri, Super Crazy and Little Guido (Nunz), Rey vs Psicosis and Tanaka vs Mike Awesome.
