Yeah, thats right, the cats out of the bag. Damo was indeed the short lived but successful Jimmy. Me and Nicho wanted to induct him for a while now and seeing as he is pretty much stepping out of the fed completely, we felt it was fitting to see him off with some fanfare. You can leave comments here however you like, I know I will.
You might ask the reason why I am telling you he was Jimmy, heck Damo might even ask the same, well here is your answer. This guy founded the fed, he deserved to be an rper here and through his early dedication to the fed we are all enjoying ourselves in it today. He deserves some recognition because he did reach the top and he did so in only 3 months. Whether you thought he deserved the shot or not, he did it the right way I can assure you all. He won the tournament, won at BDB and went on to hold that title. It was my pleasure to let him take it off me because he deserved it from his work in the fed
Now onto Damo as an owner of the fed. Mate, you know I wasn't happy with how things went down after I left as co-owner but lets leave that out of this. When you were sole owner you did a pretty damn bang up job. Through your HSC year you got people interested and they helped carry the fed through both hard and easy times and we all enjoyed it along the way
As a person I have to say you seem shy sometimes, if not a little nerdy , but under that you actually got a kind of wicked humour that a lot of people wouldnt know unless they talked to you on a regular basis. You do a lot of good work with St. Johns Ambulance service and I hope you keep it up. Maybe you can save my life when I am pissed off my head at Big Day Out '07 and I fall from a balcony...maybe...just maybe
Hope you like this and I encourage everyone to post, even if you haven't been here that long. Lets show our appreciation for the father of DUEW, The owner of the Howards and last but not least a good bloke, Damien Porter!
