-The 'DUEW vs The World' event has now been announced as a Points Cup. Each match, except for the Captain vs Captain (Jonny Stripes vs Brock Lesnar) match and the 8 man tag match will be worth one point. The Captain vs Captain match will be worth 2 points, and the 8 man tag match will recieve one point for each elimination.
-As stated in his interview (which is posted on DUEW DOT COM), Nicho "Z" has gathered a partner for the event and has formally accepted Team 3D's challenge.
-'World' manager, Jerry Jarrett has announced the four man team that will be teaming up to take on DUEW's Hunter (team captain), Mr Lover, Ken Paradise and Sucky. The team is as follows: Chris Jericho (Team captain), Ultimo Dragon, Petey Williams and Juvetud Guerrera.
-Jerry Jarrett and Mr Howard have also come to an agreement that the 8 man tag match will be a Captain Fall Elimination match. Meaning the match will continue until either Mr Lover or Chris Jericho are pinned. Meaning the match can end with only one pinfall through to seven eliminations.
-In their match, Nightmare and Abyss will be accompanied by their managers Paul Bearer and James Mitchell respectively.
-The Disturbed vs Sick Nick Mondo match will now be a 'Falls Count Anywhere, Weapons Count Everywhere' match.
