Melbourne Show
The show opens with green and gold pyro shoot from the small titan-tron and the crowd go wild. Mr Howard then comes out onto the stage with a mic in his hand.
Mr Howard: Let me welcome you all to the second and final show in DUEW’s ‘Not on TV’ tour. So lets get this night started with a bang!
There is a big red explosion on the stage and “Burned” begins to play. Out-walk Kane and Sucky. Kane slowly walks down the ramp – looking at the ring and Sucky jumps around him, yelling out to the crowd.
Mr Howard: Introducing first, coming from The Unknown and Thornlie, Western Australia respectively; Kane and Sucky!
The crowd boo loudly as the two make their way down the ramp and into the ring. They both stand in the ring, talking to each other as the music fades out and it cut off by the sound of breaking glass and the cr4owd going wild.
Mr Howard: And their opponents, both from Victoria, Texas. The Beer Drinkers!
Both men then come out from behind the curtains on a Harley, with Lemmy driving and Austin with a 6 pack of beer in his hand. They speed down the ramp and ride around the side. They split up the beer and throw it into the crowd, keeping a can each for themselves. They scull them down and slide into the ring, laying into their opponents until the ref breaks them up and sends Sucky and Austin to their corners.
*DING DING*
Stone Cold starts to talk to his partner, giving some directions but Kane comes walking over and grabs Lemmy by the throat, hurling him into the middle of the ring. Kane walks over and places his foot on Lemmy’s chest, then steps over him – crushing his sternum. Kane then casually walks over and tags in Sucky.
Sucky climbs to the top rope, dives out and hits a flying elbow drop on Lemmy Campbell. Cover: 1…Lemmy kicks out! Sucky drags Lemmy over to a corner, so he is sitting in the corner. He then runs to the opposite corner, runs back and tries to dropkick Lemmy in the face, but Campbell rolls out of the road – sending Sucky to kick the steel ring post. This gives Lemmy time to crawl over and make the tag to SCSA.
Stone Cold comes running into the ring, and so does Kane. Austin clotheslines Kane to the mat before attending to Sucky, stomping a mudhole on him. After about 10 stomps, SCSA hypes the crowd up before heading to the top rope. As Austin goes to jump out to hit a flying clothesline on Sucky, Kane pulls on the top rope, causing Austin to fall ‘nut first’ on the top of the turnbuckle. Sucky then climbs up, hits Stone Cold with a few right hands and Superplexes him onto the mat.
Both men remain on the mat, both trying to get to their feet. Sucky manages to get up first, with SCSA getting to a standing position a few seconds after. The two trade punches for a good 20 seconds, which wares both men out – and then go crashing to the mat. Kane and Lemmy then enter the ring and begin to brawl. Kane comes out on top when he hits Lemmy with a big boot to the throat. Kane then drags Sucky over to their corner, climbs onto the ring apron and forces a tag. Kane runs over and covers Austin: 1…2…Stone Cold kicks out!
Kane helps him to his feet and Irish-whips him into the ropes. On the rebound – Kane hits a big boot to the face of SCSA. Cover: 1…2…kick out!! By this time, Lemmy is to his feet. Lemmy begins to hammer into the back of Kane’s head with rights and lefts, but Kane grabs him by the throat and throws him out of the ring onto the mats. Kane then signals for Sucky, who is now back to his feet and has caught his breath to climb to the top rope. Sucky does so and Kane lifts Austin up in a chokeslam position. He signals for Sucky to legdrop Austin as he falls, but just as Sucky jumps – Austin reverses Kane’s chokeslam and arm drags Kane into the path of Sucky and Sucky kicks Kane straight in the face.
Kane falls forward on the top rope, and as he slowly turns back to Stone old, he gets hit with a Stone Cold Stunner. The crowd go wild as SCSA hooks both of Kane’s legs: 1…2…3. The bell rings and Austin’s theme song plays over the arena as Lemmy slides back into the ring and the pair celebrate. They slowly make their way up he ramp, leaving Sucky and Kane arguing in the ring.
Mr Howard: And the winners of this match, The Beer Drinkers, Stone Cold Steve Autin and Lemmy Campbell!
The crowd cheer loudly and the two make one final pose before disappearing backstage.
A promo video then plays promoting the release of the ANZACs House of Horror, Genesis vs Holocaust and Hardcore Heaven DVDs as Kane and Sucky make their way backstage.
Mr Howard then comes back out onto the stage.
Mr Howard: And the next match is your two on one handicap match! Introducing first, they are a combination of the Tag Team Champions. They hail from Redcliffe, Queensland and Lisbon, Portugal respectively; they are the World Class Lineup – Matt ‘The Money’ Hare and Julio!
‘Alright’ hits the speakers and the crowd begin to boo. Hare and Julio walk out from backstage in their blue tights. They make their way down the ramp, ignoring the crowd. They both run and slide into the ring, undoing their title belts and holding them in the air to the booing crowd. They then throw the belts out of the ring and wait on the turnbuckles for their opponent.
Mr Howard: And their opponent, he is the DUEW Deathmatch Champion. He is from Sydney, New South Wales. Disturbed!
The crowd go wild as ‘Bound’ hits the speakers and the lights go out. The light flash back on as the singer yells ‘Ready’ and Disturbed appears at the top of the ramp with a ‘waterfall’ of gold pyro falling behind him. He has his Deathmatch title in one hand, and a chair in the other. The crowd are going wild as he walks slowly down the ramp and gets into the ring. He throws his title belt out of the ring and places the chair in his corner.
*DING DING*
As the bell rings, Hare is sent to the ring apron and Julio and Disturbed lock up. Julio comes out on top, but Disturbed reverses and locks in a monkey grip around Julio’s waist. Disturbed lifts Julio up as if it were a German Suplex, but instead, slams him forward onto his face. He poses for the crowd as Hare comes into the ring and runs at him. With instinct, Disturbed turns around and dropkicks Hare in the face – sending him to the outside.
Disturbed then helps Julio to his feet and Irish-whips him into the corner. But as Dizzy runs at Julio, Julio drops and rolls out of the way. Julio then jumps to his feet and dropkicks Disturbed in the back. With Disturbed lying on his back on the canvas, Julio climbs to the top of the turnbuckle. Julio the hits a moonsault. He covers by hooking the outside leg: 1…2…Disturbed kicks out. Julio then gets Disturbed to his feet and guides him over to the corner – tagging in Matt. Julio holds Dizzy in a full nelson while Hare punches him numerous times in the gut.
While Disturbed is still in the full nelson, Matt runs to the opposite ropes and charges at Disturbed, just in time, Julio lets go of the hold and leaves Disturbed free to a flipping spear from Matt. Hare covers: 1…Disturbed kicks out. Hare quickly gets to his feet before stomping Disturbed in the face and stomach a few times. He then heads u to the top rope and tries for a frog splash, but Dizzy lifts his foot and kicks Hare straight in the mouth.
Julio then runs in and begins to stomp Disturbed, which distracts the referee. Hare crawls over and grabs the chair that Disturbed bought to the ring. As he sees Disturbed get to his feet and go for a lionsault, he plays possum and just as Dizzy is about to land on him – he places the chair in the air. Disturbed lands face first on the chair, which sends him to the mat.
Hare then rolls to his feet, helps disturbed up and hits a European uppercut. He hits two more before Irish-whipping him into the corner where Julio is – but not making the tag. Julio gets into the ring and the two men mudhole stomp Dizzy until the ref orders the pair off. When Matt is finished with the referee, Disturbed is back to his feet. Hare charges at him, but Disturbed moves out of the way. On the rebound – Disturbed scoops him up and hits a body slam. Disturbed then hypes up the crowd before running to the ropes, but only to get kicked straight in the back by Julio.
As Disturbed holds his sore back, Julio climbs to the top rope, and as Disturbed turns around to face him – jumps out and hits a Twister. The ref orders Julio out of the ring and Matt gets back to his feet. Hare climbs out onto the ring apron and springboards off the top rope as Disturbed sits up and Hare hits him with a spinning calf kick to the face. Hare rolls over Dizzy and sits on his face, wrapping both of the Deathmatch Champion’s legs over his head for the cover: 1…2…3.
‘Alright’ hits the speakers again and the crowd let out a massive boo. Julio and Hare celebrate in the ring with their tag titles. As they see Disturbed beginning to stir, they roll out of the ring and pace backwards up the ramp.
Mr Howard: And the winners of this match, the DUEW Tag Team Champions – Matt Hare and Julio!
The crowd continue to boo as the two make their way back through the curtains and they leave Disturbed shaking his head in the ring. Disturbed then grabs his title belt and a microphone and stands in the middle of the ring, addressing the audience.
Disturbed: I’m really sorry to let you down, guys but that was just plain…cheating!
The crowd cheer and start up ‘DI-STURBED’ chants as Disturbed makes his way backstage looking very disappointed with himself.
