DUEW vs The World

The show starts with green and gold pyro shooting out from the large titan-tron set and the crowd going wild. On the main titan-tron is the official DUEW vs The World banner. The camera then focuses on the two DUEW announcers, Tom C and Jonathon Jefferies.

Tom C: Everybody, welcome to DUEW vs The World! This is DUEW’s first ever American television show, and by-god are we excited!!

JJ: That’s right, Tom. Tonight, DUEW is going to show the world what it really has to offer. Here’s a quick overview of what tonight’s show is all about; there will be a total of six matches. The matches are as follows; DUEW’s Phenom, Nightmare will take on ‘The Monster’ Abyss.

Tom C: Sick Nick Mondo will be coming out of retirement to take on the DUEW Deathmatch champion, Disturbed in a ‘Falls Count Anywhere – Weapons Count Everywhere’ match.

JJ: The team of Ultimo Dragon, ‘The Juice’ Juvetud Guerrra, Petey Williams and their captain, Chris Jericho will be taking on DUEW’s Ken Paradise, Mr Lover, Sucky and their team captain, Hunter in an Captain Fall elimination match.

Tom C: Team 3D, formerly known as the Dudleys have set out a challenge for Nicho “Z” and a ‘mystery partner’ to take them on in a tables match. Nicho has accepted the challenge and has told DUEW.com that he knows exactly who his partner is going to be, and we will find out tonight.

JJ: The three members of ‘World Class Lineup,’ Matt Hare, Joey Malone and Julio Gonzales will be facing the team of AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Chris Sabin to decide the best ‘all round’ team in the world.

Tom C: And in the main event, the DUEW World Champion, Jonny Stripes will be in action against the IWGP World Champion Brock Lesnar.

JJ: And the points system…

Tom C: Yes, of course. All matches except for the Main Event and Captain Fall matches will be worth one point each. In the Captain Fall elimination match, each pinfall, submission, count-out or disqualification will be worth one point. And the Main Event will be worth two points.

‘No Chance’ then hits the speakers and Mr Howard comes out onto the stage wearing a grey suit with yellow shirt and yellow tie, with a microphone in his hand. He looks around at the crowd, who are all cheering madly, smiles and raises the mic to his mouth.

Mr Howard: Good evening, my name is Mr Howard – the owner of Down Under Extreme Wrestling. I was approached last month by a man called…Jerry Jarrett.

The crowd cheer.

Mr Howard: Mr Jarrett proposed to me an idea. An idea what would not only give DUEW the international exposure it deserves, but it would give myself and the whole DUEW roster to prove to the world that we are not only a threat to the ‘major companies’ but we are in fact a major player ourself! So I gave it some thought. Then, as you may of heard – we had some legal trouble with one of the biggest franchises in the world, Mc…no, I can’t say it. And those gutless sons of bitches took us off television. So the next night, I rang up Jerry and said ‘you know what, lets do it!’ And a date was set – July 2nd 2006, and look where we are now!

The crowd cheer loudly.

Mr Howard: Wait, what the hell am I doing?! You people want to see some WRESTLING!

The crowd cheer.

Mr Howard: Ok, lets get this started. The following match is the Captain Fall Elimination match! Introducing first, lead by their captain, Hunter – the team of Ken Paradise, Mr Lover and Sucky. Team…DUEW!

The Australian National Anthem plays over the speakers and all four members of Team DUEW emerge from backstage, all wearing black DUEW t-shirts. They then head down the ramp in ‘Indian file’ lead by Hunter. All members get into the ring, all (except Sucky) take off their t-shirts and they begin to talk between themselves.

Mr Howard: And their opponents. Lead by their captain, Chris Jericho – the team of Ultimo Dragon, Juventud Guerrera and Petey Williams. Team…World!

‘Break down the walls’ hits the speakers and Jericho, Juvi, Ultimo Dragon and Petey Williams make their way down the ramp in a group, all wearing red ‘themed’ attire. As they get to the bottom of the ramp, they all split up – each taking a side of the ring. At the same time, they all slide into the ring and pose.

JJ: Both teams showing great pack mentality there, both entering as a full team and with matching attires.

The ref sends all members of both teams except Ultimo Dragon and Ken Paradise to their corners.

*DING DING*

Ultimo and Ken circle the ring, and finally meet in the centre for a test-of-strength. As they lock in both hands, Dragon wins and kicks Ken straight in the stomach – forcing him to bend over. Ultimo then hits Paradise with repeated knees to the face. Ultimo Dragon then runs to the ropes, bounces back and hits Paradise with a running knee to the face – which sends Ken to the mat. Ultimo Dragon quickly walks over and tags in Juvi.

JJ: The first tag for this evening.

Juvi climbs to the top rope and jumps out to hit a frog splash, but Ken rolls out of the way and The Juice lands flat on the mat. Ken jumps over to his corner and tags in his brother, Mr Lover. Lover runs over to Juvi and begins to stomp him. He then helps him to his feet and hits a few punches to the cheek before Irish-whipping him into the ropes. On the rebound, Lover hits a dropsault to the face of Juventud.

Tom C: The speed and agility of these men truly astounds me, Jonathon.

He begins to hype up the crowd and run around the ring but Juvi sticks his leg out and trips him over. Juvi crawls over and puts Mr Lover in a sleeper hold.

Lover stays in the hold for about 10 seconds but eventually starts to get to his feet. Before Lover can get to a standing position, Juvi kicks him in the back of the knee, which causes Lover to ‘stand’ in a kneeling position. Still with sleeper hold locked in, Juvi reaches out and tags in Ultimo Dragon. Juvi keeps the sleeper hold in position and Ultimo bounces off the opposite ropes and Juvi lets go just in time for Mr Lover to get smacked in the face with a running dropkick. Dragon covers: 1…2…No. Lover kicks out. Ultimo covers again, this time pushing his forearm across the throat of Mr Lover – 1…2…Lover kicks out again.

Tom C: Great resilience from the former Australian champion.

Angry, Ultimo Dragon quickly helps Lover to his feet and Irish-whips him into the ropes. As he goes to rebound off the ropes, Hunter makes a blind tag on Lover. Lover continues to run and Ultimo Dragon hits him with a standing kick to the face. Hunter quickly gets into the ring and as Ultimo Dragon turns around – Hunter kicks him in the stomach, wrenches his arms and hits a Pedigree. He rolls Ultimo over and hooks both legs for the cover: 1…2…3. Chris Jericho just misses the interference, but Ultimo is eliminated.

Tom C: Hunter pins him! Hunter used the situation to his advantage there.

Ring Announcer: Ultimo Dragon has been eliminated. Team DUEW is on one point.

Ultimo slowly makes his way backstage and Chris Jericho jumps in as his replacement.

Tom C: Here it is, folks – the two captains facing off.

Hunter charges at Jericho, knocking him into the ropes. Hunter then Irish-whips Y2J into the opposite ropes, Hunter ducks, attempting to send Chris flying over his head. But Jericho stops, steadies up and hits a DDT on Hunter. Cover: 1…2…the count is broken by interference by Mr Lover. Lover is sent out of the ring and Jericho gets Hunter to his feet. He Irish-whips him into a corner and runs at him – hitting a Stinger Splash. He Irish-whips him again, running at him and hitting another Stinger Splash. He tries for one more Irish-whip, but Hunter reverses it and whips Y2J into the corner. Hunter tries for a Stinger Splash of his own, but Jericho ducks and Hunter lands face-first on the turnbuckle.

As Hunter walks dizzily out of the corner, Jericho hits a bulldog on him. But as he goes for a lionsault, Ken Paradise interferes. Jericho sees him while in mid-air and adjusts his momentum, hitting a springboard knee/thing kick to the face of Ken Paradise. All three men are now on the ground, but Jericho reaches out and tags in Petey Williams.

Tom C: Frequent tags shows great tag team wrestling. We can see that Team World are keeping fresh, which is what they need because of the handicap they are on.

Williams walks over to Hunter, who is now on his feet and kicks him in the stomach. He signals for the Canadian Destroyer, but Hunter reverses and throws Petey Williams over his head. Hunter throws himself forward over to his corner and tags in Sucky. As Sucky gets in the ring, he goes to step forward, but quickly reverts and tags in the nearest man – Mr Lover. Sucky quickly makes his way onto the ring apron and Mr Lover looks on in confusion.

JJ: Gosh that Sucky is a coward. Come on, he’s Canadian! What can he do?!

While Lover is half way through getting into the ring, Petey Williams runs and hits him with a knee to the side – which sends Lover crashing to the outside. Ken Paradise then gets into the ring and starts to lay into Petey with right hands. Ken is hit by a missile dropkick to the face when Juvi interferes.

Tom C: The referee really needs to get some order into this match.

Lover is back in the ring and only him and Petey are in action. Lover charges at Petey Williams and spears him into his corner. Lover tags in Hunter. The two then begin to mudhole stomp Petey, but the ref orders them off and helps Williams to his feet. Hunter and Petey begin to stare each other down in the ring before Petey charges at his opponent and knocks him into a corner. Petey then tries for a monkey flip, but Hunter lands on his feet. Both men are back to their feet and Hunter starts to punch Petey in the forehead. Without the ref noticing, Williams low-blows Hunter and throws his head between his legs; CANADIAN DESTROYER! Petey then puts his legs over the shoulders of Hunter and covers on a powerbomb position: 1…2…3.

Tom C: The captain?! Seems like DUEW are gonna be in big trouble without their captain!

Ring Announcer: Hunter has just been eliminated! Both teams are now on one point each.

Ken Paradise jumps in as Hunter’s replacement and clotheslines Petey. Paradise runs over and knocks the other two members of Team World off the apron. He then runs around the ring, hyping up the crowd. As he goes to turn around to Williams again, he gets hit with a superkick. Petey Williams covers: 1…2…Ken kicks out.

JJ: Close one there for Ken Paradise. He should keep his mind on the game and not the fans.

Petey gets Ken to his feet and hits a few forearms to his back before Irish-whipping him into the corner. He runs at Ken, but Ken raises his feet and Petey runs into a corner dropkick. Ken grabs Petey by the hair and throws him into the corner – he then climbs to the middle rope and begins to punch Petey in the face: 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…10. Paradise poses on the top rope, but then bends over and holds his genitals.

Tom C: Was that a BITE from Petey Williams?! That is one of the cheapest shots I’ve seen, and I’ve been commentating for over 12 years!

Petey then locks in a powerbomb and slams Ken down on the canvas. He jumps over and tags in Juventud. The two men make their way over to Ken and begin to stomp him. After about 10 seconds – the referee sends Williams out to the corner, Petey obeys. Juvi gets Ken to his feet and kicks him in the stomach, he then knees him in the face and lifts him up for a Michinoku Driver. As Juventud goes to hit the move, Ken leans backward and hits a reverse DDT. Ken then scrambles his way over and tags in Mr Lover.

Tom C: Finally Ken makes a tag to his brother.

Mr Lover runs over and grabs Juvi by both legs, then catapulting him into the ropes. Juvi lands on the ropes. Lover quickly gets to his feet and tags Ken Paradise back in. The two then grab a leg each and push Juventud’s legs down, so he lands on his feet. The two then both bounce off the opposite ropes and try for a double dropkick on Juvi, but Juvi ducks and both men go flying into the middle rope – one leg either side of the rope. Juvi grabs Ken and slams him on the mat and hooks both of Ken’s legs so they are away from the ropes: 1…2…3.

Ring Announcer: Ken Paradise has been eliminated! The score is now 2 to 1 in favour of Team World.

With the teams now 2 on 3, Lover gets in as the replacement for his brother. He and Juventud lock up, with Lover coming out on top – kicking Juvi in the stomach. He then throws Juvi’s arm over his head and hits a quick suplex. Cover: 1…2…Juvi kicks out. Lover then gets Juventud by the hair and helps him to his feet, Lover Irish-whips Juvi into the ropes, on the rebound he hits a hiptoss. As Juvi rolls to his feet, Lover Irish-whips him into the ropes again, on the rebound Lover jumps over Juvi – on the second rebound, Lover drops to the ground and hits a running monkey flip on Juvi. Lover then signals to head to the top rope. When he is standing on the turnbuckle, Lover poses and hits a 450 Splash on Juvi. Covers: 1…2…the count is broken when Sucky comes in and breaks the count.

Tom C: What the hell?!

Lover and Sucky argue. As the argument becomes more heated, Sucky backs away and gets back onto the ring apron. Lover stalks him over and begins to yell again. Sucky refuses to listen and Mr Lover punches him hard in the head. The referee signals for the tag, and only Team World notice this. Juvi jumps up and tags in his captain, Y2J – Chris Jericho. Jericho runs over to the opposing teams corner, pushes Mr Lover out of the road and suplexes Sucky into the ring. Y2J then springs off the ropes and hits a Lionsault on Sucky, covering by hooking the outside leg: 1…2…3.

Ring Announcer: Sucky has been eliminated. The score is now 3 to 1 in favour of Team World.

Tom C: Sucky is such an idiot.

JJ: I wouldn’t blame it all on Sucky, Tom. But whatever is happening - tonight seems to have started on a bad note for DUEW.

Now, with the odds 3 to 1 in Team World’s way, Mr Lover stands in the corner that was once home to Team DUEW – looking on at Chris Jericho, Petey Williams and Juventud Guerrera in the opposite corner. Juvi whispers something in the ear of his captain, and Jericho nods his head and makes the tag. Juvi laughs to himself before walking into the middle of the ring and challenging Lover to a test of strength. The two lock their fingers, but Juvi kicks Lover right in ther gut. Still with both hands joined, Juvi continues to kick Mr Lover until Lover jumps up onto Juventud’s shoulders – so he is kneeling while still locking their hands. He then lets go and Sunset flips over Juventud into a powerbomb cover: 1…2…Juvi kicks out. Lover then rolls Juvi backwards and jumps to his feet; double footed dropkick to the face! Lover covers again: 1…2…Juvi kicks out.

Tom C: This is great cruiserweight action!

Both men get to their feet and Mr Lover charges at Juvi. Juvi moves out of the way and Lover keeps running, he bounces off the ropes and Juvi jumps up and hits a Hurricanrana on Mr Lover. Cover: 1…Lover kicks out! Juvi charges at Lover and tries to hit a spear, but Lover takes control of his opponent and hits a DDT. He then gets to his feet and climbs to the top rope. As he is standing on the turnbuckle, Petey Williams runs over and pushes him off. Lover’s agility and balance allows him to land on his feet and in one motion, kicks the (now standing) Juvi in the gut and hits a Love Hit. He jumps on top of ‘The Juice’ for the cover: 1…2…3.

JJ: YES!

Ring Announcer: Juventud Guerrera has been eliminated! The score is now 3-2, still in favour of Team World.

Before Lover can safely get back to his feet – Chris Jericho runs in and dropkicks him in the face. He then signals for Petey Williams to climb to the top rope, and Petey does so. Chris Jericho kicks Lover hard in the stomach and, still bending over, pushes Lover about half a metre away from the corner – facing the turnbuckle. Petey Williams then drops down and in one motion, hits a Canadian Destroyer. About a second after the move is hit, Y2J locks in the Walls of Jericho. After about five seconds, Lover taps out. Jericho keeps the hold locked in for longer and the bell ring repeatedly. Chris still doesn’t let go. Then, the other members of Team DUEW (excluding Sucky) come running down the ramp and begin to gang-bash Jericho and Williams.

Ring Announcer: And the winners of this match, Team World!

Officials come running down the ramp to break up the fight and a video plays for the Main Event.

**The two men that lead their companies. The two men that captain their teams. The two men that face off in tonight’s main event. Which man will prove to be the most dominant person in professional wrestling?**

The scoreboard then comes up for the night. The table shows Team World has the advantage, and the score is 4 to 2 in favour of Team World.

JJ: I don’t know what your opinion is, but I thought that elimination tag match was amazing. Full of controversy.

Tom C: I think DUEW should have come out on top, but Sucky cost us the win!

JJ: You can’t blame everything on Sucky, Tom!

Mr Howard comes out onto the ramp again, mic in hand.

Mr Howard: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, accompanied by James Mitchell; from Parts Unknown, he is…Abyss!!

His music hits and smoke goes all over the stage as James Mitchell comes stalking out of the curtains wearing a red suit with white shirt and red tie. About a metre behind him is the 6’10”, 350 pound monster, Abyss. The two make their way down the ramp and into the ring. When in the ring, James Mitchell talks to Abyss as they wait for Nightmare.

Mr Howard: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Paul Bearer – he is DUEW’s very own Phenom, hailing from Deathvalley – Nightmare!

‘Ministry of Darkness’ hits the speakers as a blue stroke of lightning hits the entrance and Paul Bearer and Nightmare come out onto the stage. With a gold urn in his hands, Bearer leads Nightmare down the ramp and into the ring. Paul Bearer stays out of the ring and the referee orders Jim Mitchell out and the two big men stare each other down.

*DING DING*

The two men advance into the ring and stare each other straight in the eyes. Both managers on the outside are yelling for their wrestler to strike, and after about 10 seconds of staring each other down, Abyss hits Nightmare in the head. Nightmare returns the favour and the two brawl until the ref breaks them up.

JJ: Two 6’7” men brawling it out and that little referee, Jim Dunlop can break them up? What has happened to this world?!

Jim Mitchell jumps up onto the ring apron and whispers something in Abyss’ ear. Abyss then charges at Nightmare and Ho-trains him into the corner. Abyss then begins to lay into him with lefts and rights until Dunlop separates them again. Abyss backs of and gives Nightmare time to get out of the corner, then charges at him and shoulder blocks him to the mat.

Tom C: Abyss seems to have a huge advantage over The Nightmare. It seems Nightmare has just given up…and the match just started.

Abyss walks over to James Mitchell to get his gratitude, but Nightmare gets quickly to his feet and walks over behind Abyss. As ‘The Monster’ turns around, Nightmare grabs him with both hands around the neck and hits a Super Night Choke. Cover: 1…2…Abyss kicks out. Nightmare then grabs Abyss by the hair and gets him to his feet. He punches him a few times in the head before attempting to Irish-whip him into the ropes, but Abyss counters and whips Nightmare into the ropes. On the rebound he hits a big boot to the face. Cover: 1…Nightmare kicks out with ease.

After a few minutes, both men are back to their feet and are slugging away at each other. Nightmare eventually gets the advantage and gets a few extra punches in before Irish-whipping Abyss into a corner. Nightmare then goes for a running clothesline onto Abyss but James Mitchell grabs Abyss’ legs and trips him over – causing Nightmare to go flying into the turnbuckle.

Tom C: A cheap interference by James Mitchell.

JJ: They call him the Sinister Minister for a reason, Tom.

Abyss quickly jumps to his feet and clotheslines Nightmare to the mat. He then grabs his leg and starts to twist it around and kick Nightmare in the back of the knee. The ref gets Abyss off, but James Mitchell jumps up onto the apron to distract the ref as Abyss starts to kick Nightmare straight in the face, then choke him. Paul Bearer then comes running at Mitchell, climbs up onto the ring apron and smashes him over the head with the gold urn.

Tom C: Even though I don’t condone the use of weapons, Jim Mitchell deserved that!

Abyss orders the ref to turn around and count the pin: 1…2…Nightmare kicks out. Abyss then complains to the referee about the ‘slow count’ which gives Nightmare time to get to his feet. As Abyss turns back around to face his opponent, Nightmare kicks him in the stomach, throws his head between his legs and lifts Abyss up for the powerbomb. But instead of slamming Abyss down, he carries him (still on his shoulders) over to the corner and throws Abyss into the turnbuckle. He then grabs Abyss’ hand, climbs the turnbuckle and hits an ‘Old School.’ The crowd cheer as Nightmare, still holding Abyss’ arm locks in a wrist lock – kicking out his knees.

JJ: Nightmare seems to be taking a break here.

Tom C: He deserves it, they were some great moves!

Abyss begins to fight his way back to his feet, but Nightmare kicks his knee out again and Abyss goes back to a kneeling position. After a while Nightmare begins to help Abyss to a standing position. Then, in one motion – lets go of the wrist lock, spins Abyss around and lifts him up for a tombstone piledriver. HIT!

JJ: That is Nightmare’s dreaded Tombstone Piledriver! Shades of the legendary Undertaker.

Nightmare places Abyss’ hands across his chest and pushes down for the pin: 1…2…3. The bell rings as his music hits and he poses on one knee.

Ring Announcer: The winner of this match, Nightmare!

The crowd erupt in mixed reactions as Nightmare, closely followed by Paul Bearer makes his way backstage.

Ring Announcer: The score is now 4 to 3, still in favour of Team World.

It then cuts to backstage, where the three members of World Class Lineup are walking backstage, Matt wearing a black suit with yellow shirt and purple/yellow striped tie, Joey wearing a navy suit with white shirt and light blue tie, and Julio wearing a black suit with red shirt and red tie. Closely behind the three is a short man carrying three large sports bags.

Tom C: Well, World Class Lineup are here ready for their 6 man tag match with AJ Styles, Chris Daniels and Chris Sabin.

JJ: Ooohh…that is my pick for match of the night, Tom!

Mr Howard comes out onto the ramp again to announce the next match.

Mr Howard: The following match is the tables match! Introducing first, they are from Dudleyville…Team 3D!

Pyro comes flying in from the roof onto the stage as ‘Bombshell’ hits the speakers and Team 3D come out onto the ramp, Brother Ray wearing an ‘American coloured’ TNA t-shirt and Devon wearing a Team 3D singlet. They make their way down the ramp and as they get to the bottom, Ray slaps Devon on the chest and looks around at the crowd.

Brother Ray: DEVON!

He throws his hand in the air and counts down from 3 as the crowd screams with him: GET THE TABLES!!!

Devon throws the ring apron up and grabs two tables and throws them into the ring. He and Brother Ray slide in and set the two tables up as they wait for Nicho and his mystery partner.

Mr Howard: Introducing now, he was born in Atlanta, Georgia but is representing Australia – he is a former 3 time Australian Champion. Nicho Z!!

The crowd jump to their feet and go crazy as ‘In the end’ plays over the speakers and Nicho “Z” comes out from behind the curtains wearing a DUEW t-shirt, with a microphone in his hand. He signals for the crowd to hush, and they slowly do so.

Nicho Z: Now settle, ladies and gents. Because I have an announcement to make; now, Dudleys, you set out this challenge for me and a partner of my choice to take you’se on in a tables match. You stated, I quote – “he will never find a partner.” Well, 3D – I thought you were right for a second. Then, it struck me! I should get one of the most vicious, well trained, beautiful people I’ve met.

Team 3D look at Nicho strangely, then laugh.

Nicho Z: No, I’m not batting against, folks. Infact, why don’t I just introduce my partner right now?! In introduce to you all…Angie…Ryker!

‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’ hits the speakers and the crowd cheer. Angie Ryker comes out onto the stage wearing a black DUEW singlet and black leather pants. Team 3D stand in the ring laughing their heads off as Nicho and Angie pace down the ramp and slide into the ring. Angie jumps on top of Devon with a Lou Thesz Press and begins to lay into him with lefts and rights. Nicho “Z” runs and clotheslines Brother Ray, knocking him into the turnbuckle where Nicho lays into him with punches to the ribs and face.

*DING DING*

Nicho Irish-whips Ray to the other corner, but Brother Ray trips over a table and face plants onto the floor. Nicho drops down and locks in an STF. After a few seconds, Ray taps out.

JJ: Well that is no use is it?

Brother Ray continues to tap until his tag partner, Devon jumps on Nicho’s back to break the hold. The former Dudleys then begin to stomp the hell out of Nicho until Angie gets to her feet , jumps on Devon’s back and brings him to ground with a rear naked choke. She lets go of the hold and gets to her feet, where she dropkicks Brother Ray in the back of the head which sends him muff diving into the corner.

Tom C: And Team 3D were laughing at the fact Nicho chose Angie Ryker as his tag partner. I bet they are having second thoughts now!

Angie helps Nicho to his feet and she orders Nicho to throw Brother Ray onto the table. Nicho does so and Angie heads to the top rope. She then jumps out and tries to body splash Ray through the table, but Brother Ray moves out of the road. Nicho realises this and steps in front of Angie – catching her in mid-air and placing her back on the mat.

JJ: Great sight and reflexes by the Sunburn GM.

As the two go to face the Dudleys again, Brother Ray lifts Angie up over the table and they go for the 3D. Again, using his reflexes – Nicho pushes Brother Ray out of the road and Angie pulls Devon back and hits a reverse DDT through the table.

The bell rings and ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’ hits the speakers as the crowd go crazy and Angie and Nicho celebrate in the ring.

JJ: That was a very quick match!

Ring Announcer: The winners of this match…Angie Ryker and Nicho “Z”! The score is now equal at 4 a piece.

Nicho and Angie make their way backstage, giving fans high-fives on their way.

It then cuts backstage to the DUEW interviewer, Joe.

Joe: Good evening, all. I’m Joe – and tonight I have with me, three former X-Division champions and all partners for tonight, Chris Sabin, AJ Styles and Chris Daniels!

The camera zooms out and reveals the three men standing in a line, Christopher Daniels and AJ with their NWA Tag Titles over their shoulders.

Joe: Now, guys. Tonight you will be up against one of the most dominant stables in wrestling today, the combination of Joey Malone, Matt ‘The Money’ Hare and Julio Gonzales, also known as the World Class Li…

AJ Styles takes the mic from Joe and the camera focuses on the three tag partners.

AJ Styles: As Joe said, we are three former X-Division champions. And myself and Chris Daniels here, we’re the current NWA Tag champions. I am a Triple Crown Winner. I don’t think World Class Lineup have anything like that to their name.

Christopher Daniels: The fans love us, the wrestlers love us, hell…even Jamie here loves us. World Class Lineup are hated by everyone! And no matter what they say, being liked DOES help you in the ring.

Chris Sabin: So when we face off against those three yupi’s, they’ll realise that money is nothing in the business. Its heart, skill and respect that get you over the line!

They hand the mic back to Joe and walk off down the hall.

Joe: Well thanks, guys.

It then cuts back to the ring, where Mr Howard is standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone.

Mr Howard: The following match is the Falls Count Anywhere, Weapons Count Everywhere match!

The crowd cheer.

Mr Howard: Introducing first, coming out of retirement for this one last match. He resides from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sick…Nick…Mondo!

The crowd cheer as ‘Last Resort’ hits the speakers and Sick Nick Mondo comes running out onto the stage holding a light tube, wearing his usual neon green/yellow pants and with “WORLD” written across his forehead. He looks around at the crowd before making his way down the ramp. He slides into the ring and throws his arms up in the air and the crowd cheer louder.

Mr Howard: And now, he is the DUEW Deathmatch Champion! From Sydney, Australia. Disturbed!

The lights go out as ‘Bound’ hits the speakers and the crowd jump to their feet to cheer. At the que of ‘Ready,’ the lights flash back on and Disturbed is standing on the ramp, wearing his usual ring attire and a black DUEW t-shirt with the Deathmatch title around his waist. He does a quick pose and pyro goes off before heading down the ramp. He slides into the ring and poses as the crowd cheer. He goes over and attempts to shake hands with Nick. Disturbed waits patiently for the hand shake and as Nick is about to return the handshake – Mondo smashes the light tube over his head, sending him to the ground.

*DING DING*

Nick jumps on him and starts punching him in the head until Disturbed reverses and lies on Mondo, returning the punches. Nick reverses and does the same, this continues until the pair both roll out of the ring and onto the mats outside.

Tom C: I can’t imagine this being a wrestling match, Tom. It’s going to be a hardcore war!

Finally, both men are to their feet, and Disturbed has a steel chair in his grasp. He swings the chair and smashes Sick Nick in the face – which sends Mondo to the floor. Disturbed hits Nick again, and again, and again. He throws the chair into the crowd, jumps on the barrier and poses. He then turns around and jumps out – hitting an elbow drop from the barrier onto Sick Nick, then covering: 1…Nick kicks out!

JJ: Disturbed can’t expect to put him away that easily.

Disturbed gets Sick Nick to his feet and starts to bash his head repeatedly on the side of the ring. But after about 10 bashes, Nick elbows Disturbed in the gut, grabs his head and climbs onto the ring apron from where he jumps out and gets Dizzy with a hurricanrana.

Tom C: This may be a wrestling match after all, Jonathon. That was a precision hurricanrana.

Nick grabs Disturbed by the hair and throws him back into the ring. He walks over and picks up the end of the shattered light tube, he then takes it over, locks Dizzy in a sleeper hold and begins to carve into the forehead of the Deathmatch champ. He carves in the letters ‘SNM’ but the letters are barely visible because of the large amount of blood dripping down the face of Disturbed.

Tom C: Oh my god! This should be stopped, REFEREE!

Nick then drops the end of the light tube and covers Dizzy: 1…2…kick out! The crowd cheer loudly and Disturbed slowly gets to his feet. Just as Disturbed is about to be in a standing position, Nick Mondo springs off the ropes and hits a 180 springboard dropkick to his face. Mondo covers again: 1…2…Dizzy kicks out! Nick, who is very frustrated climbs out of the ring and looks under it. He pulls out a ladder. As he tries to get the ladder into the ring, Disturbed runs and dropkicks it into his face – sending him flying back into the announce table.

JJ: Oh no, looks like we’re going to be using a wooden catering table for the rest of the night!

Disturbed climbs to the top of the turnbuckle, as he jumps out, Sick Nick rolls out of the way and Disturbed smashes his chin on the side of the table. Schoolboy from Mondo: 1…2…Dizzy kicks out! Sick Nick continues to get the ladder into the ring. He then looks under the ring again and pulls out a table, which he slides into the ring also. He himself then gets into the ring and sets the ladder up, with the table set up next to it.

JJ: I can tell this is going to be good, Tom!

Tom C: Good? These men are going to mutilate themselves more than they have already…I would hardly call this ‘good.’

Disturbed rolls himself into the ring and Nick sees him. Nick begins to punch him in the temple a few times before rolling Dizzy onto the table. Sick Nick slowly climbs the ladder, attempting to gain energy on his way. When he finally gets to the top, he realises Disturbed is off the table and slowly climbing the ladder himself. When both men are at the top, then slug it out for a while. Disturbed then gets the upper hand and turns Nick around so he is facing the opposite way to the table. Disturbed then climbs to the VERY top step of the ladder (where it joins), locks a monkey grip around Nick’s waist and German suplexes him off the ladder – through the table below.

Tom C: Sorry to curse, but; HOLY CRAP!

The crowd start up ‘HO-LY-SHIT’ chants as the two men lay in the middle of the broken table and the ref checks up on them. After about 3 minutes, the two men slowly begin to get back to their feet. When they are about half way up, they start to slug it out, finally Nick gets the upper hand and Irish-whips Disturbed into the ladder – sending him to the mat. Nick then starts to climb the ladder, but Disturbed gets to his feet faster than Mondo expected. Disturbed begins to climb the ladder as well. The two slug it out again at the top of the ladder, but Nick gets the upper hand this time and pushes Dizzy off the ladder onto the outside. Nick then gets in position and jumps out – hitting Disturbed with a flying clothesline.

JJ: This is just getting better and better!

Tom C: Well, it is pretty amazing.

Sick Nick Mondo covers: 1…2…Disturbed kicks out again! Nick is getting angrier by each kick out, so he looks under the ring yet again. He finds nothing that interests him, so he heads over to the ring announcer’s area. He pushes the ring announcer back off his stool and grabs it. He turns it upside down and starts to pummel it into the ribs of Disturbed time and time again until the metal stool is bend and out of shape. Nick then rolls Dizzy into the ring, but Nick walks around to the other side of the ring and throws the ring apron up. He climbs under the ring so only his pants are showing and pulls out a cheese grater.

JJ: A cheese grater?! Oh my god!

Nick rolls into the ring and makes his way over to Disturbed, but as Nick goes to attack him with the grater, Disturbed gets Mondo with a drop toe hold and locks in a modified STF. Mondo gets to the ropes after about 10 seconds, and Disturbed lets go. Dizzy picks up the grater and walks over to Mondo – as he places it on his forehead and pushes him backward – leaving a massive cut across his whole forehead. Disturbed grabs Nick by the hair and holds the cheese grater high in the air before hitting Nick in the side of the face with it, which leaves Sick Nick with a whole bunch of small dots of blood on the side of his cheek.

Tom C: This is brutal!

Disturbed drops the grater and helps Nick to his feet by the hair. He Irish-whips him into the ropes, and on the rebound hits him with a Lou Thesz Press, followed by a bombardment of punches.

Tom C: Finally, a wrestling move.

Nick reverses it, but doesn’t continue to punch Dizzy. Instead, he gets the pair back to their feet and Irish-whips Disturbed into the ropes. While Dizzy is running, Mondo picks up the grater. As Disturbed is on his return – Nick kicks him in the genitals, throws the grater into the hands of Disturbed and jumps and hits a spinning heel kick – causing the grater to go in the face of the Deathmatch Champion, cutting up both his hands and face. Nick then gets Disturbed to his feet and gets him in position on his shoulder – Life Cutter! He then signals for the turnbuckle and the fans cheer. Covered in blood, he climbs to the top turnbuckle, but shakes his head. He jumps down onto the mat and the crowd boo. But their mood soon changes when he heads over and sets up the ladder.

JJ: You’re kidding me!

He climbs to the top, climbs over and does a Mondo Sledge from the ladder. He hooks one of Dizzy’s legs for the cover: 1…2…3.

The bell rings as ‘Last Resort’ plays again. Mondo gets his hand raised by the ref as he stumbles around the ring.

Ring Announcer: The winner of this match, Sick…Nick…Mondo! The score is now 5-4 in favour of Team World!

Sick Nick helps Disturbed to his feet, then extends his hand for a handshake. Disturbed shakes Nick’s hand and the two men make their way backstage together.

[Matt Hare]

After an ad break, it cuts to the Team World locker-room where all members are welcoming Sick Nick Mondo with a round of applause. Chris Jericho walks over and scruffs his hair up.

Y2J: Nick that was an awesome match. Not only will it commemorate your career like you deserve, but it gained another point for the team. So on behalf of everyone here, we’d like to give you this…we got it from the crew when they cleaned up the ring. It is the announcer’s stool that you drove time and time again into the face and ribs of Disturbed. And it’s all signed by us, Team World.

Christopher Daniels walks over and hands Y2J the chair, and Jericho hands it to Nick. Nick nods his head and smiles as the rest of the team cheer. It then cuts to the interview set where Kimberly is holding a microphone, nect to Jonny Stripes wearing a black DUEW t-shirt with his DUEW Championship over his shoulder.

Kimberly: Jonny, we asked Nicho “Z” this question on DUEW.com, but, being from Philly, how does it feel to represent Australia in tonight’s show?

Jonny Stripes: I know I’m from America. Don’t go thinking I’m stupid, Barbie. The reason I am not on the other side of this team is because DUEW is the company I work for. DUEW is where I got my kick-start in wrestling. I’m not like Brock Lesnar, where I got everything handed to me on a silver plate. I worked my ass off to be where I am today; I know all those stupid fans out there don’t appreciate it, but DUEW does. And that, Kimberly, is why I’m wearing this shirt and that is why I’m on Team DUEW tonight!

Kimberly: Well, thank you Mr. Stripes and good luck in your match tonight.

Jonny Stripes: Pfft, luck is for losers, babe. I want a kiss.

Jonny turns his face and pushes his cheek towards Kimberly’s face. Kimberly backs away, but Jonny keeps moving closer to her.

Jonny Stripes: Kiss it you stupid skank!

Kimberly screams and runs off down the hall as it cuts back to the ring, where Mr Howard is standing with a mic in his hand.

Mr Howard: The following match is the 6 man tag match to determine the best 3 all rounders in independent wrestling today. Introducing first, weighing in at a combined weight of 640 lbs. From Detroit, Michigan, Gainsville, Georgia and The City of Angles respectively, Chris Sabin, AJ Styles and ‘The Fallen Angel,’ Christopher Daniels!

An electric guitar version of ‘Star Spangled Banner’ plays and AJ Styles, wearing white attire and with his NWA Tag Title around his waist, Christopher Daniels wearing a long white ‘hooded robe’ and Chris Sabin wearing black and white tights, wearing a black TNA t-shirt with American colours make their way out onto the ramp. Red, white and blue pyro goes off as they all pose, with Daniels and Styles taking off their ‘hoods’ and they walk down the ramp looking very focussed. They get into the ring and each pose on a turnbuckle, then all stand in the ring, AJ takes off his vest and Daniels takes off his robe to reveal he is also wearing white tights. He and AJ then pose with their Tag Titles as the crowd cheer.

Mr Howard: And their opponents, weighing in at a total of 665 pounds. They are the DUEW Tag Team champions. From Redcliffe, Queensland, Lisbon, Portugal and Napoli, Italy respectively – Matt ‘The Money’ Hare, Julio and Joey Malone. They are the World…Class…Lineup!

The crowd boo as ‘Alright’ hits the speakers and the three men come out onto the stage wearing their Australian tights. Hare with a navy blue ring jacket and the tag title looped over his shoulder, Julio with his tag belt around his waist and Joey Malone carrying his Australian title in his right hand, they all pose as green pyro goes off and they all make their way down the ramp – yelling abuse at fans and their opponents. They stop halfway down the ramp as ‘YOU-SUCK-DICK’ chants start up. Hare jumps down off the ramp, climbs onto the guard rail and holds his title high in the air – which gets more boos from the crowd. He jumps back onto the ramp and the three continue down the ramp and into the ring. They all hold their titles high in the air and the ref takes them off both Team World and WCL.

*DING DING*

Team World nominates Chris Sabin to kick off the match and WCL nominate Julio as the other members get out onto the apron and Hare removes his jacket.

Sabin and Julio circle the ring, and then lock up. Julio comes out on top, turning Chris around and locking in a monkey grip around his waist. Sabin then reverses it and locks one in of his own, but instead of a German Suplex, Chris kicks out the legs of Julio, lands on his back and slides around on him. Sabin gets Julio to his feet and hits him with a few punches before whipping him into a corner. Chris Sabin runs at him, but Julio lifts his legs and Sabiin runs under. Julio wraps his legs around Chris’ waist and rolls down for a sunset flip pin: 1…2…Chris kicks out!

JJ: So let’s get this right, Tom. This is a ‘best all-rounders’ match because both teams have three men that could be named ‘the best in the world’ at their particular style. And this match will settle it.

Tom C: That’s right, Jon. AJ Styles and Matt Hare are the young, accomplished high-flying, yet technically sound wrestlers, Joey Malone and Sabin are the very quick technical wrestlers that will take risks when needed and Christopher Daniels and Julio are the small, perhaps ‘quiet achievers’ of their sides that are very good at both wrestling, entertaining and high-flying.

Julio and Sabin are both back to their feet, this time they lock up in a test of strength. Instead of abiding by the rules, Julio kicks Sabin straight in the genitals. Julio then hits repeated knees to his face then whipping him into the ropes. As Sabin rebounds - Christopher Daniels blind-tags him and gets into the ring. Julio dropkicks Chris Sabin, but is not quick enough to get Daniels. The Fallen Angel kicks Julio in the back and locks in a reverse headlock. The two get to their feet and Daniels whips Julio into the ropes on the rebound hitting him with a powerslam into cover: 1…2…the count is broken by interference by Matt. Chris gets Julio to his feet by the hair and walks over to his corner – tagging in AJ Styles.

JJ: In comes AJ Styles.

Christopher Daniels holds up one arm of Julio and AJ kicks him in the side, before whipping him into the ropes and hitting a dropkick to the face. Cover: 1…2…Julio kicks out! AJ gets him to his feet, but Julio pushes him out of the way and lunges over to tag in Matt Hare.

Tom C: This is the one I’ve personally been waiting for.

Matt gets into the ring and Styles throws himself on top of him – continually punching him in the face until the ref pulls him off. He then heads to the top rope and waits for Hare to get to his feet, but Joey Malone yanks on the ropes, causing AJ to fall on his genitals. Matt runs over, gets AJ standing on the top rope and jumps backward – hitting a top rope DDT on the NWA Tag champion. Cover: 1…2…AJ kicks out!

JJ: Big DDT there from Matt ‘The Money’.

Matt complains to the referee before stomping Styles a few times. Hare gets AJ him the hair and throws him into the corner. He knees him a few times in the stomach, then Irish-whipping him into the opposite corner. Matt runs and tries a Stinger splash, but AJ jumps out of the road, causing Matt to land on his face on the turnbuckle pad. AJ rolls him up with a schoolboy: 1…2…Hare kicks out.

JJ: AJ Styles almost gets the three count.

The two men are back on their feet and lock up. Matt comes out on top, grabbing Styles’ arm and locks in a standing armbar. AJ reaches for the ropes, but Hare brings him back into the middle of the ring. After a few seconds AJ spins himself out of the armbar and kicks Matt in the gut. He then puts Matt’s head between his legs and tries to lift him up for the Styles Clash. Julio climbs to the top rope and hits AJ with a missile dropkick to the face, which sends him backward – Matt landing on him for the cover: 1…2…the count is broken by interference by Chris Sabin.

Tom C: Very close to the three count. Perhaps they would have got it if it wasn’t for Christopher Daniels.

JJ: They DEFINITELY would have got it if it wasn’t for that stupid bald man!

Matt complains to the ref again as Styles gets to his feet and dropkicks Hare in the back of the head – sending him to lean on his knees on the middle rope. AJ runs up and tries a ‘619’ but Julio grabs his legs and throws him out onto the mat before he can ‘kick’ Hare. With help from Julio, Matt gets to his feet, runs to the opposite ropes and on the rebound jumps out – hitting a helo onto AJ Styles.

Tom C: My god! Big helo by Hare!

The crowd go crazy and both teams go to check on their team mate. The peace doesn’t last long, with Joey Malone lunging himself at Chris Daniels and Chris Sabin attacking Julio. The four men brawl on the outside and Hare and Styles remain on their backs on the mat. After a while, and when the other four are back in the ring, AJ Styles kicks Matt in the face. Matt retaliates with a kick to AJ’s face. Still lying on the mat, the two men continue to kick each other, then finally get to their feet and start to brawl their way into the ring.

JJ: Aww, I thought this would be all high-flying, Tom!

Tom C: No-sir-y, these men are great all rounders, so I expected straight from when I heard about it that it would be a very diverse matchup!

Referee, Tom Gilligan finally takes charge of the match, sending Julio, Joe, Sabin and Daniels to their corners and breaking up the brawl between Hare and AJ. AJ goes for another lock-up with Hare, but Matt stays where he is. Styles runs and tries to dropkick Hare into the corner, but Hare moves out of the way and tags in Joey Malone. Joey and Matt make their way over to AJ, who is slowly getting to his feet. Hare kicks him in the stomach a few times and signals for Malone to backbreaker AJ. Matt then heads up to the top rope. Joey hits a backbreaker on his knee, but AJ knees Joey in the face. As Matt jumps out to ‘cut the cheese,’ Styles pushes Malone in the road and Hare lands on him. Styles then jumps over and tags in Chris Sabin.

JJ: Great work by the desperate AJ Styles there.

Sabin runs at both Hare and Malone, knocking them down with clotheslines. He then runs over and dropkicks Julio off the apron to the outside. Chris Sabin walks around the ring, pumping up the crowd until he gets clotheslined by the Australian Champion. Joey covers: 1…2…No. Sabin kicks out!

JJ: Close count there, but not close enough.

Joey slowly helps Sabin to his feet before Irish-whipping him into the corner. Joey runs at him and barges him into the corner, he then whips him into the opposite corner and does the same. He goes for another, but Chris reverses the whip and whips Joey into the corner. He then runs at him, but Joey moves and Chris grabs onto the top rope, then wrapping his legs around Joey’s waist and rolling up a Sunset Flip pin: 1…2…the count is broken by Hare!

Tom C: Great athleticism by Chris Sabin, only to be ruined by Hare.

Hare and Joey then begin to pick on Chris Sabin again. Joey holds him in a full nelson as Matt punches him repeatedly in the stomach. This only lasts a few seconds as AJ and Daniels come in to break it up. Styles whips Joey Malone into the ropes and on the rebound hits him with a dropkick. He then goes over to help Christopher Daniels, who is laying into Matt with punches. The two then Irish-whip Hare into the ropes and on the rebound hit him with a double elbow to the face. AJ then holds his hands out and Daniels does a backflip off them onto Matt. The crowd go crazy.

JJ: Again, Team World working together beautifully. Come on, World Class Lineup…get ‘em.

The ring is cleared again of everyone bar Sabin and Malone as both men go over and tag in their closest partners, Christopher Daniels and Matt Hare respectively. The two lock up, with Daniels coming out on top, hitting a quick suplex on Hare, who jumps quickly back onto his feet. Daniels walks over, grabs Matt’s hand and attempts to Irish-whip him into the ropes, but Hare reverses and whips Christopher Daniels. On the rebound, Hare hits a hiptoss on Daniels, then into a cover: 1…Chris kicks out! Both men get to their feet and Hare runs at Daniels, but Daniels jumps over him and Matt continues to the ropes. As he goes to rebound, Daniels tries a dropkick but Hare wraps his arms around the top rope and Christopher lands on his back. Matt quickly climbs out onto the ring apron, jumps onto the top rope and hits a springboard frog splash on Daniels.

Tom C: Here comes Team DUEW!

Matt goes over and tags in Julio, who is back on the apron. The two get Daniels to his feet by the head and Julio whips him into the ropes. As Christopher Daniels rebounds Hare tries to hit a spear on the former X Division champion, but Chris jumps over him and clotheslines Julio onto the mat. Julio gets to his feet, and Daniels hits him with an Atomic Drop. After hyping up the crowd a bit, he hits Julio with a few punches before throwing his head between his legs and wrenching the arms, ready for the Angels Wings. Just as he is about to lift him up for his finisher, Joey Malone hits a forearm to Daniels’ back, causing him to let go of Julio’s arms. As Christopher Daniels turns around, Joey hits a Napoli Cutter! Joey gets Julio’s attention and Julio jumps on top of him for the cover: 1…2…the pin is broken by AJ Styles.

JJ: This is getting better and better, Tom.

Tom C: You’re not wrong, Jonathon. But the ref really needs to take order of these interferences to break up pin covers!

AJ gets out of the ring and back onto the apron as, in disgust, Julio walks over and tags in Hare. Matt slowly creeps up on Daniels, getting him ready for an RKO. As soon as he gets to his feet – BAM! RKO on the Fallen Angel. Hare hooks both legs: 1…2…Daniels kicks out and the crowd let out a loud sigh of relief. Instead of arguing, Hare makes his way to the top rope. He waits for Christopher Daniels to get to his feet, which takes time. Hare goes for another Over Castle on The Fallen Angel, but Daniels catches Matt in mid-air and slams himself backward – hitting a modified suplex.

Tom C: WOW! Great move there by one half of the NWA Tag Champions!

Both men slowly crawl their way to their respective corners, both tagging in AJ Styles and Julio simultaneously. The two stare each other down, then Styles runs at Julio, Julio drops to the ground and AJ jumps over him. As AJ comes back, Julio rolls him up in a cradle pin – grabbing the tights: 1…2…AJ kicks out. Julio gets Styles to his feet and kicks AJ in the crotch. He then throws his legs between his legs and hits a powerbomb on AJ Styles. With encouragement from his team-mates, Julio heads to the top rope and hits a moonsault on Styles, hooking the outside leg: 1…2…AJ kicks out again!

Tom C: This is great resilience by AJ Styles.

Angrily, Julio gets AJ to his feet again and tries to powerbomb him again, but this time, AJ reverses and gets Julio in an AlabamaSlamma position. He then runs backward into the turnbuckle so Julio gets squashed. He then hits an AlabamaSlamma of his own and heads to the top rope, from which he performs a Spinal Tap. The crowd go crazy as he hooks both legs for the count: 1…2…The count is broken by both Matt and Joey. Joey punches AJ a few times before he gets a dropkick to the back from Christopher Daniels. Chris Sabin also comes in, attacking Hare.

JJ: Come on, ref. Get some order here!

After about a minute, the ref sends the correct wrestlers out of the ring, leaving AJ Styles and Julio in the ring. The two men slug it out before AJ springs off the middle rope, lands on his feet with Julio’s head under his arm and hits a reverse DDT. AJ heads to the top rope again. He stands there for a while, waiting for Julio to get to his feet. Just as Julio is in a standing position Styles jumps out and tries for a cross-body, but Hare runs into the ring and hits an RKO while in mid-air. Julio jumps on top of him, placing his forearm over AJ’s face and hooking the outside leg.

Tom C: Gosh, it HAS to be over from that!

1…2…NO! AJ kicks out again!

JJ: Oh my god, Tom. Who is this AJ Styles guy?!!

Steaming, Julio starts to scream at the ref as he goes over and tags in Matt Hare. Matt slowly gets into the ring, trying to suss out Styles. AJ simply laughs and walks over to Hare – the two stand nose-to-nose. Hare throws the first punch, then AJ returns one, then Hare throws one but Styles blocks it. AJ repeatedly punches Hare until he is forced into the corner. The crowd go crazy as Styles poses for them and Hare gets to his feet. Hare runs at AJ and hits a hurricanrana, but with no pin. AJ gets to his feet and Hare kicks him in the stomach and gets Styles in a DDT position. Instead of DDT’ing him, Hare twists Styles around so he is in a reverse DDT position and lefts him up for a Har-ection. After holding Styles in the air for a few seconds, AJ flips himsrlf over and as Hare turns around: Super kick to the face! Cover: 1…2…Matt kicks out!

Tom C: This is great action from both sides.

AJ gets Matt to his feet and Irish-whips him into the corner. AJ runs directly after him, hitting a clotheslining him in the corner. AJ then climbs to the middle rope and goes for a Monkey Flip, but Hare turns him around so he is sitting on the top rope. Matt then climbs to the top rope, gets AJ in position and hits a top rope Dog Bone Suplex, then rolling him up and grabbing the tights for leverage: 1…2…Chris Sabin breaks up the count and jumps directly out of the ring. Angrily, Matt gets AJ to his feet and tries for another RKO, but AJ pushes him away. This doesn’t work all that well because as he comes back, Hare hits Styles with a running S.T.O.P. Instead of covering, Hare calls Julio into the ring and heads to the top rope. Julio drags AJ into the corner Hare is in, so Hare can perform a SSP. As Julio gets AJ in place, AJ gets him with a low blow and then hits a DDT. With Julio laying on his back approx. a metre away from the corner, AJ climbs up, bashes Hare’s head on the corner and gets him in place for the Styles Clash. Instead of it being a regular Styles Clash, AJ climbs to the very top rope and falls forward to Hare gets sandwiched between AJ and Julio. AJ then rolls him over into a powerbomb pin: 1…2…3.

The bell rings and the ref hands AJ and Daniels their titles as they hold them high in the air.

Ring Announcer: The winners of this match, Christoper Daniels, AJ Styles and Chris Sabin! The count is now 6-4 in favour of Team World!

As the three winners go to get out of the ring, they all get smashed in the back of the heads by WCL with their own title belts. World Class Lineup slide out odf the ring and walk backwards up the ramp, holding their titles above their heads and Hare holding his back.
