The results should be done by tomorrow night but for now here are the results of two of the matches, written out in full for your enjoyment:
JJ: “Tonight to start us off we have two men who are multiple champions in other federations. To of the most well known wrestlers in the world and here they are, appearing tonight for the opportunity to become the very first DUEW Peoples Champion”
Tom C: “That’s right, tonight we have the stunner up against the sharpshooter, the Rattlesnake versus the hitman and to be honest I can not wait!”
The sound of a broken glass is all over the hall as Stone Cold enters it.
As Stone Cold Steve Austin marches down to the ring Bret Hart rushes out from the back and hits him on the back of the head, sending Austin sprawling down the ramp. Hart follows him and bends over Austin, grabbing his head and slamming it into the ramp three times. Hart then pulls Austin to his feet and throws him down to the end of the ramp
JJ: “This is a mugging here. Bret Hart is truly despicable”
Austin is trying to get up but has lost his bearings. Hart pulls him to his feet again, only to throw him into the steps, sending the two levels of the steps apart. Bret kneels down and starts viciously smashing Austin’s head on the steps. After five slams Austin fights his way to his feet but is soon reeling after Bret kicks him in the gut. Bret lines himself up in front of Austin and lifts him for a scoop slam, dropping him onto the steps
JJ: “God! The sound was sickening and it rang out through the entire arena. Bret isn’t going to win the title unless the bell rings for the match to start”
Tom C: “Bret Hart is a champion, he knows exactly what he is doing. Jeez JJ, give him a little credit”
Bret has now rolled Austin into the ring and has followed in. Bret waits in the corner until Austin has gotten to his feet. The ref asks him if he wants to fight still but he doesn’t give him an answer but charges to the corner and starts pounding Bret’s chest with his feet. Austin has gotten a second wind and is playing up to the fans big time. Austin walks to the ref and grabs his hand and holds it up high before swinging it towards the timekeeper, who rings the bell to start the match.
Tom C: “This isn’t fair, Bret Hart is down and out, don’t start the match ref”
Austin walks back over to the corner and gives Bret the finger and is about to start kicking again when Hart gets up and rakes Austin’s eyes in a blink. Hart Irish whips Austin to the ropes and chases after him, clothselining Austin over the ropes. Bret follows him out and starts to beat on him, throwing him to the barrier wall twice and into the other set of stairs, before re-entering the ring to break the count and getting back out straight away, taking control of Austin again
JJ: “Stone Cold never recovered from that cheep attack at the beginning of this match and that’s why he is being thrown about like a rag doll now”
Bret takes Austin to the announcing table and throws him into it and then lifts him onto it, climbing up after him.
JJ: “Bret Hart get the hell off my table”
Bret looks at JJ and spits down onto him
Tom C: “That’s what happens when you disrespect Bret Hart”
Bret picks Austin up and locks Austin’s arms behind his back, pulling back and double arm suplexing Austin off of the first announcing table and onto the second, which folds from the impact. Bret laughs sadistically and jumps off of the table and gets into the ring. The refs count reaches 8 when Austin crawls into the ring. Austin is up on his feet and is trying to keep his balance. Bret swings at him but Austin blocks and returns the punch. Bret again throws a punch but time Austin ducks. Bret is pissed off and instead of punching he grabs Austin’s body and knees him in the stomach. Bret then bounces off of the ropes and runs at Austin but is hit with the Lou Thez press and then the “Rattlesnake Elbow”. Austin is pumped up and is giving the finger left right and centre. Bret gets up but is thrown to the ropes straight away. Bret comes back at Austin and is kicked in the stomach. Austin puts his arm around Bret’s neck and tries to hit a “Stone Cold Stunner” on Hart but Bret pushes him away, towards the ropes. On his way back Bret hits a kind of spinebuster but grabs Austin’s legs instead of body. Bret locks in the sharpshooter and Austin quickly taps out
JJ: "Oh great, Bret Hart is now a DUEW champion"
The next match is the Lover v Boris match. It is fast paced and the crowd are getting into it. Lover has just hit his finisher but the ref is down. While the ref is down Kitty storms the ring with a chair and whacks Lover with it, knocking him out. Kitty wakes the ref and drags Boris' big arm over Lover for the three count. Boris is the new Aussie champ and he and his wife stand over Lover, laughing at the elaborate trick they had played
Tom C: “Well boys and girls we got a big match coming up right now”
Jonathon: “An I Quit Triathlon! I hope these guys have trained up, otherwise they’ll get fried”
Tom C: “In a match like this you need to be as tough as nails and that isn’t something you can train to be. To be like these two competitors you need to be born tough”
The bell rings and the action kicks off quickly. Straight away Disturbed is all over Shazzer. After avoiding a grapple Disturbed drop toe holds Shazzer as he is running at him, making Shazzers face land on the wire, scraping it a little. Disturbed asks the ref if that counts and he says no. Disturbed tries arguing but it doesn’t work. As Disturbed turns around he finds Shazzer up and ready. Shazzer kicks Disturbed in the gut and lines up a suplex into the ropes, tangling him up in the wire. Shazzer asks the ref if it counted but the answer was again answered in the negative. At this Shazzer leaves the ring and pulls out various weapons from under the ring. He takes a kendo stick, a trash can lid and a ladder out and puts them all in the ring. He moves to go back into the ring then changes his mind and goes back under the apron to search for a weapon. Meanwhile in the ring Disturbed is back on his feet and waiting for Shazzer to get up.
Jonathon: “Oh my lord, Shazzer doesn’t know it but Disturbed is up and ready to attack”
Shazzer comes up with a table in his arms and doesn’t see Disturbed running and baseball slide kicking the ladder, which hits the table into Shazzers face. Disturbed runs towards the turnbuckle and jumps off onto the floor below, driving an elbow into Shazzers chest.
Jonathon: “That is solid concrete floor underneath him. The physical blow may mean Shazzer can’t even get up”
Disturbed makes his way to his feet, rather groggily and Shazzer soon followed, though much worse. Disturbed grabs Shazzers hand and Irish whips him into the red hot dumpster, burning Shazzers back. Disturbed then runs to the apron and pulls out a bag with the five letters written in simple black “TACKS”. He comes back to Shazzer and drops the bag onto the ground. He then lifts Shazzer over his head and rolls him onto the top of dumpster, before jumping up after him, with the tacks in hand. Disturbed opens up half of the bin top and he and Shazzer are on the other half. Inside we see flames licking the inside and the top.
Tom C: “And to think one of these two will be inside that for 5 seconds at least”
Jonathon: “Its plain dangerous! I can’t believe that Mr. Howard can create these sorts of matches”
Tom C: “I know, aren’t they great”
Disturbed is now emptying the tacks into the flaming dumpster, letting them sit at the bottom. Shazzer is now up and Disturbed seems in full control. He grabs Shazzers arm and attempts a hip toss into the bin but Shazzer holds firm and then reverses into a clothesline. Disturbed’s legs are just hanging in the bin and the referee runs down to count, Disturbed not knowing why.
Ref: “1…2…3…4…”
At the last second Disturbed rolls backwards, only to face Shazzer. Shazzer shoves Disturbed’s head between his legs and lifts his unprepared opponent for the “Demon Bomb”. Before he can throw Disturbed in Disturbed grabs his head and tries to pull down and DDT him but halfway down Shazzer swings himself around in a 360 degree turn and slams Disturbed into the bottom of the dumpster with a bone shattering Spinebuster
Jonathon: “They have to get him out of that bin now!”
The ref counts to five and two men in fire protective clothing come down and pull Disturbed out of the bin. The action restarts after a five second count, even though Disturbed had clearly suffered burns and had scores of holes in his back from the tacks in the bottom of the dumpster. Shazzer started off in obvious control but after a few minutes of roughing Disturbed up a real fight was on again. Disturbed was up against the ring post and Shazzer was charging at him when Disturbed ducked. Shazzer smashed into the post and Disturbed quickly took advantage. He slammed Shazzers head into the pole 5 times, splitting open his forehead and causing blood to leave his nose.
Jonathon: “I think that broke his nose!”
Tom C: “Look on the bright side, at least we are one step closer to finding out who is Deathmatch champion”
Shazzer is given a five second break to recover but after only three seconds he throws himself back into action, starting a fist fight with Disturbed. They brawl until they both end up in the ring together, still fighting it out on the mat. Disturbed breaks free and quickly grabs the kendo stick and cracks Shazzer on the head. While Shazzer is down Disturbed grabs the 25 foot ladder and sets it up. Shazzer gets up but seems groggy. However he is just playing possum and when Disturbed approached him Shazzer dropped to the floor and locked in a Boston Crab. Disturbed struggled, knowing he couldn’t tap. He tried to reach the rope before realising it was made of barbed wire so he moved to the padded turnbuckle instead. He grabbed the bottom one and pulled his body up to the top one with only his arms, while Shazzer was still holding the lock. Disturbed mustering all his strength pulled his entire body to the top forcing Shazzer to let go of the hold. Before Shazzer could get off of the 1st turnbuckle Disturbed leapt off as if doing a moonsault but on his way grabbed Shazzers head and slammed it into a face crusher, slamming Shazzers face into the ground between Disturbed’s legs on landing. Both men are completely motionless in the ring
Jonathon: “They are both out cold! What a move by Disturbed there, breaking the hold and turning it into a magical move”
The men are now stirring and Disturbed begins pummeling Shazzer when they both are standing. Disturbed tries to do a running Irish Whip but is reversed and thrown into the ropes by Shazzer. The ref indicates the bell for one more leg being completed but barely does the bell stop when it rings again as Disturbed bounces back to Shazzer and actually does hit a running Irish whip on Shazzer, sending him into the ropes. Shazzer doesn’t take it lying down and runs back only to be hit with a belly to belly suplex. Disturbed quickly gets out of the ring and sets up the table from earlier at the foot of the ladder, after bringing it back inside. Disturbed then starts to climb the ladder but at the fourth step he sees Shazzer has scooted up to the top and to his horror had jumped down the ladder and over the top of him to perform a powerbomb through the table and then have Shazzer fall through onto him.
Jonathon: “I don’t think these two can go on”
5 minutes passes by and finally the two are up. Disturbed punches Shazzer, follows it up with two elbows to the head and then winds back mockingly, swinging his arm like a windmill. Before he can land the drawn out punch Shazzer swings a deadly right and hits Disturbed square on the cheek, blood and two teeth flying out. The ref rings the bell to indicate another leg completed and Disturbed recovers with a five second break and the pair keep at it. Disturbed ends up climbing the ladder on one side with Shazzer on the other side. They get to the top and are at an amazing height. Shazzer gets into position to suplex Disturbed off but they match each others strength and it doesn’t work. Shazzer climbs up to the very top and gives Disturbed a small kick in the face with the point of his foot. This stings Disturbed but makes Shazzer too confident and as Shazzer was preparing for a bigger kick Disturbed rushed up the last two ladder steps and jumped off, taking Shazzer with him, landing a “Dizzy Bomb” into the top of the flaming dumpster. The lids collapse from the force and as they drop in a huge flame goes up. The ref reaches a quick 5 count and they are pulled out of the dumpster
Jonathon: “If I was them I would quit right now, I mean they both can, all legs are completed now for both superstars”
A five minute gap passes and both men look terrible. Eventually Shazzer gets stable and moves to Disturbed. He flips him onto his back and locks in the Boston Crab. Shazzer thinks he has won the match but in the blink of an eye Disturbed has reversed it into the “Disturbed Lock” and has Shazzer screaming…
Shazzer: “I QUIT…I QUIT…I QUIT”
Disturbed releases the hold after a few seconds and takes up his title to celebrate only to find Bret Hart rushing to the ring with a chair to attack Disturbed. Disturbed fends the attack off at first but soon Bret slams him around into everything near by, the dumpster, the apron, the ring post, the wall and the announcers table. Bret then gets a chair and plants him on the forehead, before finishing it with a sharpshooter, letting go as Disturbed taps weakly.
Jonathon: “This is disgusting behaviour by a man who thinks he is a champion! Bret Hart is just jealous of Disturbed because he is much younger and quite frankly better”
Tom C: “C’mon JJ, I mean Disturbed did call Bret washed out. He is just showing the youngsters he can still do it”
Jonathon: “Well how about he shows he can still do it by wrestling the right way!”
Tom C: “By any means possible”
Jonathon: “Bret Hart is acting like a five year old, trying to prove his point”
Tom C: “But a five year old can’t compare with Bret Harts physicality”
Jonathon: “Look at his smile as he walks up the ramp! He has thrown a temper tantrum and has gotten his way”
Bret is walking up the ramp smiling smugly while Disturbed is standing in the ring with an angry look in his eyes and a limp. Bret motions around his waist and points at Disturbed, who raises his title high in the air, even though it is paining his arm.
The 9 man WHT match was frantic. Disturbed and Shazzer were bandaged up and limping from the get go. Boris and Lover didnt even make it into the ring because they started brawling and ended up fighting in the crowd. Bret Hart quickly targeted Disturbed, while Lemmy and Stone Cold made minced meat out of Shazzer. With Shazzer and Disturbed injured beyond repair and Lover and Boris missing in action only 5 were left. Stone Cold and Lemmy continued to work together and had their sights on Bret Hart. Stone Cold hit a stunner on Bret and was going to cover when Joey Malone, who had temporarily floored his opponent Pyro performed a Napoli cutter on both Stone Cold and Lemmy. Only Joey and Pyro were left in the ring and Joey made a fatal mistake by not looking for his opponent as he turned around. He walked straight into Pyro who performed his finisher "The Ultimate Hit" and got the pin
