Moody instrumental music begins to play as a shot of Disturbed’s face, shrouded in shadow, comes onto the screen. He looks up and once his face is in full view it disappears, the screen going black as a voiceover starts
Voiceover: “A lot of issues are left unresolved…Two best friends…”
A shot of Jonny and Dizzy in the ring is shown, then fades out
Voiceover: “…his next victim…”
A shot of Nightmare with an intense look on his face is shown
Voiceover: “…and the fate of the titles…”
Shots of Jonny, Dizzy and Joey are all shown, their titles around their waists
Voiceover: “DUEW is back on the air. Who knows whats going to happen? God only knows it…”
The video stops and we go over live to the arena, where fireworks are going off. JJ and Tom C are welcoming us to the show and running down the card, as Julio starts to come out for his match
'Bodies' by the Sex Pistols hits the speakers and Julio walks out from backstage wearing his red tights, with black designs. He stands on the ramp and looks around before pacing down the ramp - blocking out any crowd noise. He slides into the ring and waits for his opponent
Tom C: “Big match for Julio tonight, he is of course a former Australian champion already and another one would really cement his place as one of the greatest Australian champion”
"Ticket To Heaven" by 3 Doors Down hit the hall and golden fireworks comes out from the board volcano style /Randy Orton/ and the crowd stand on their feet cheering "Paradise, Paradise". Ken Paradise comes out and poses on the ramp. When He makes the signal and many golden fireworks comes out from the ramp. Ken goes down the ramp shaking hands with the audience. He greets the crowd from the top rope and then steps on the ring
JJ: “I really like this Ken Paradise fellow, he has a lot of potential to go very far in the wrestling business. I can definitely see an Australian title around his waist in the near future if he can make it through this match as the victor”
The lights go out and “You start the fire” by Bret Hart hits the hall. When drums hit for first time the hall is lighten. Bret Hart goes down the ramp and gets on the ring under the third rope.
Tom C: “Hart is of course a multiple time WWF and WCW Champion. He is getting on in years but he has been at the top of the business for a long time and I don’t think he is quite ready to leave without another major title reign”
Many lights in different colors lighten the hall. After the music starts Mr. Lover comes out attended by 9 beautiful ladies. He pose on the ramp, step on the ring and all ladies start to dance. Mr. Lover greets the audience from the top rope under many fireworks and he start to dance with the ladies. After few moments the music stop and the ladies kiss him for good luck. The ladies go back stage and he removes his hat ready for a fight
JJ: “Now this man has to be the favourite for this match. He is a two time Australian champion, voted runner up to Nicho “Z” as the Greatest DUEW champion ever. He has the goods for sure”
Julio quickly leaves the ring to step on the apron, not wanting to start the match. Bret makes a show of starting but when Lover agrees he can start he backs out of it and waits on the outside at another corner. Ken and Lover shrug and shake hands to start the match
JJ: “That was a nice gesture there by these two brothers, I have a lot of respect for both of them and evidently they share the same respect for each other”
Tom C: “Respect is all well and good but these two won’t hesitate to take each other out. Remember the rules here are that only two men are legal at a time, kind of like a tag match”
JJ: “That’s right, no eliminations, just one fall to a finish”
The two men circle each other for a bit and Ken goes for a single leg takedown but Lover avoids it and kicks his brother in the ribs as he lies on the floor
JJ: “That’s not like Lover at all, usually he engages in a bit of wrestling foreplay but I guess not today”
Lover quickly dives on his brother and starts to lay punches into his back and head, before locking him in a front face lock.
JJ: “This is more like Lover, he has a well worked style. Mixes technical wrestling with some strong high flying”
Tom C: “He’s good, there’s no denying it but I got my money on Julio. Him and Bret Hart are in cahoots and they got a plan. Lets hope Jimmy doesn’t mess it up for them”
Ken begins to struggle on the floor and soon he has rolled over and is out of the hold, back on his feet. As Lover gets up Ken swings for a clothesline but Lover ducks it and runs to the other side of the ring and goes to bounce of the ropes but he falls over the top. Bret Hart had pulled down the top rope and Ken goes to complain to him but Bret simply tags himself in off Ken and goes to the outside, throwing the hurting Lover back inside the ring.
Tom C: “Bret Hart just pulled a masterstroke then. He has got the guy exactly where he needs to be”
Bret kneels next to Lover and sets him up next to his knee, reaching across and hitting multiple crossfaces to him, before locking him in a chin lock, which he holds for a minute or two, before picking Lover up and hitting him with a back drop, which he stalls on for a few moments before hitting.
JJ: “Good strategy by Bret to wear down Lover and it looks like he is going for a tag now”
Bret reaches over to the corner and tags in Julio, who comes inside and helps Bret pick up Lover. They irish whip him to the ropes and as he comes back they hit a double shoulder block on him. Julio high fives Bret, who crouches slightly and then puts his hands in a cup shape. Julio puts his foot on it and Bret catapults him backwards, sending Julio flipping back to hit a standing moonsault. Julio goes for the cover as Bret leaves the ring but gets only a two count
JJ: “Close to a fall there by Julio, it seems that Bret and him are on the same page for sure”
Julio goes to pick up Lover again but Lover fights it and goes crazy, running the length of the ring carrying Julio with him, spearing him hard into the turnbuckle. He tags Ken in and the two brothers wait for Julio to stumble out of the corner, before hitting a double enziguiri on him.
Tom C: “Nice double team move from one of the prominent tag teams in DUEW at the moment”
Ken goes to cover Julio but Lover breaks it up with a kick. The ref goes to kick Lover out but Ken beats him to getting there. Ken and Lover begin arguing angrily and Bret sneaks into the ring. He wakes Julio up and the two of them charge at the brothers, but Ken and Lover see them coming and throw them over the top rope, Julio and Bret clatteting to the outside.
Tom C: “Well that’s not really any use to them! Lover isn’t the legal man, I don’t know what they are gonna do”
JJ: “Oh I think I got an idea. These two crazy brothers aren’t just going to stay inside the ring”
Ken and Lover look at each other with an evil glint and they stand next to each other and wait for Julio and Bret to stand, before flying over the top rope and hitting a plancha on the two of them
Tom C: “Why the hell did they do that? Now they are hurting just as much as Bret and Julio are! Idiots”
JJ: “Not idiots Tom, entertainers. They are here to entertain the fans while winning matches, that’s what they want to do”
The four men struggle on the outside for a bit but after a while all four men are back in the ring. Bret starts to hit Lover with punches in the head but Lover gives as good as he gets and sends back every hit he receives. Meanwhile Julio starts to hit Ken too. They trade lefts and rights but then Julio hits him in the stomach and gets the advantage. Julio sets Ken up for a powerbomb but by now Lover has stopped Bret and rushes over to push Julio. However in doing so Julio launches Ken into the referee.
Tom C: “The referee is down here, all hell is going to break loose I can feel it”
The ref is knocked out, but Ken is fine and still standing. He and Lover double dropkick Julio and send him in the corner. Lover crouches in front of him and Ken goes to the other corner. He is just about to go for it, when Jimmy gets on the side of the ring with a chair and hits him. Ken falls to his knees in pain”
Tom C: “WOW! What the hell is Jimmy Hart doing? Wasn't he helping Lover and Ken?”
JJ: “I will tell you what he is doing, he’s scammed the lot of them. They planned it all along.”
Bret runs toward Lover and before Lover knows what is going on Bret hits him with a leg drop on his neck. Then he and Julio pick Lover up together and double powerbomb him. Bret gives Julio sign to go and wake the ref. While Julio is doing this Bret gets the chair from Jimmy and smiles. He goes behind Julio and as Julio turns he hits him in the stomach with the chair. After that he send him out of the ring over the top rope. Bret turns and goes to Lover and locks The Sharpshooter on while Jimmy is waking the ref.
Tom C: “What a plan! What genius displayed by Bret and Jimmy Hart! This is amazing. I love it when a plan comes together like this”
JJ: “Its despicable and whats more is it is working, Bret Hart could be our next contender to be Australian champion in a matter of moments”
The referee is out of it but he is checking on Lover with half an eye open. Lover refuses to tap for over 3 minutes but the pain is becoming too much and he taps out. The referee groggily gets up and swings his arms at the timekeeper, who rings the bell.
Tom C: “This is fantastic”
JJ: “Its disgusting”
The referee is getting his wits about him while Jimmy holds Brets arm up in victory. Suddenly Julio slides into the ring behind them, a chair in hand. Julio smashes it first over the back of Bret Harts head, causing him to fall and roll from the ring and then Julio hits it right in Jimmy’s face as he turns around
JJ: “Well at least it’s a small measure of revenge for Julio”
Tom C: “And it looks like he wants to get some more here on Lover. Hang on, why is he putting him in the sharpshooter”
The referee turns around and goes up to Julio and rips him off Lover, breaking the hold. Julio shouts something at him and stands by the refs side. The referee grabs his arm and raises it in the air, instructing the ring announcer to announce him the winner
Ring Announcer: “And here is your winner and new number one contender for the Australian Title, Juliiiiiiiiiioooooooooooo”
Julio gets a wicked smile on his face and goes to the ropes as the referee leaves the ring. He leans over the ropes and shakes his head at the incredibly angry Bret and Jimmy Hart. Bret kicks the ring steps and begins ripping up the mats on the outside of the ring, before leaving in anger through the crowd as Julio celebrates to “Bodies”
****COMERCIAL BREAK****
King of Kings by Motorhead plays, as Hunter appears at the top of the ramp. Hunter stands there and looks at the ramp and sprays water high into the air as he looks up.
Ring Announcer: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the prize of the Australian championship. First the challenger tonight, making his way to the ring, weighing 270 pounds, this is Hunnnnnnter!”
Hunter makes his way down the ramp then stands on the apron and sprays water, before entering the ring and posing for the crowd
JJ: “This is a big night for Hunter, he gets a rematch for the title”
Tom C: “You gotta remember the guy is very new still but this is his second shot at a title for the second Pay per view running”
JJ: “Its true, Hunter has made great strides since he debuted a couple of months ago but I don’t know if he has enough in him to beat this man…”
"All Along the Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix plays around the arena and Joey Malone comes out, wearing green and red, half-length ring tights.
Ring Announcer: “And here is the champion, the 250 pound Joseph Maaaaaaaloooooooooooneeeeeeeeeeee”
Joey smiles arrogantly to the fans at ringside, stroking his title belt as it shines from the stage lights. He rolls into the ring and points at Hunter, before handing over his title to the ref
JJ: “This is going to be a physical match tonight and I think we are possibly going to see Hunter use his superior physique to beat the hell outta Malone tonight”
Tom C: “Are you kidding? To be good in the ring you can have 3 things: strength, speed and brains. Malone has all three and I tell you, Hunter has only got one”
Hunter and Joey approach each other in the ring and Joey starts talking smack to Hunter. Hunter calmly smiles at him, which only makes Joey angrier. Joey ends up shouting, “show me what you got boy”, and Hunter offers up a test of strength. Joey goes to lock hands and locks in one, but quickly lets go and slaps Hunter in the face
Tom C: “See, that’s Joeys brain kicking in. He is psyching that punk kid out!”
JJ: “You’re saying that Joey has a brain after he slapped a guy as big as Hunter?”
Hunter looks at Joey coolly, before cracking his neck on each side. He touches his cheek, cocks his head and then rushes Joey with some big time punches. At first Joey throws them back but soon Hunter overruns him and backs him into the corner with continuous punches. Joey grabs at his face but Hunter shows no remorse and Irish whips him into the opposite corner
JJ: “How dominant is Hunter…”
Hunter charges from one corner to the other but is met by a pair of raised boots to the face but is undeterred and quickly tries again but this time Joey dodges it and Hunter slams into the turnbuckle
JJ: “…time to eat my words”
Tom C: “It happens a lot around here”
Joey starts laying into Hunter with some wild right hands, before pulling him out of the corner, only to hit a quick jawbreaker to send Hunter right back into the corner.
Tom C: “There is that brains I was talking about. Nice work by Joey”
Joey goes back to grab Hunter again but Hunter smashes his knee into his stomach and whips Joey by his hair onto the ground. Hunter goes for the cover, but can only get a two on it. Hunter keeps Joey on the ground and locks in a modified crossface and holds it on
JJ: “This is good strategy by Hunter, he knows that he can keep this hold on Joey because he is stronger and he knows that with a hold like this, Joey can’t use his speed. Great strategy”
Tom C: “I’ll give him that, he knows what he is doing now, but earlier, he was all over the place”
Joey is slowly fading away and is trying to grab at the ropes to break the hold but can’t do so. Hunter pulls him even further into the middle of the ring and the ref asks if he wants to tap out but he doesn’t
JJ: “I don’t see what Joey can do here to get out of this. Sooner or later he will pass out”
Joey starts to struggle even more and after a little bit more he grabs the referee and pulls him to the floor. Hunter lets go of the hold to help the ref up but as he pulls him to his feet Joey rams into Hunter from behind and the ref goes flying through the ropes to the outside. Hunter turns around and Joey goes for the Napoli Cutter but Hunter pushes him away and into the ropes
JJ: “This is chaos here at ringside”
Tom C: “Tell me about it”
As Joey bounces back Hunter kicks him in the gut and pulls him between his legs. He shouts out for the Pedigree and begins to hook Joeys arms when Julio rushes the ring and blasts Hunter with a chair shot right between the eyes. Hunter lets go and stumbles back onto the ropes in a daze. As he stumbles back Joey jumps up and hits a Napoli Cutter. Julio drops the chair and pushes the ref back into the ring and the referee counts a very slow 3 to give Joey the victory and let him retain his title
JJ: “Joey Malone just cheated to keep his title again ladies and gentlemen, Hunter got screwed out of the title again by one of Joeys World Class Lineup mates”
Tom C: “Its called using your brain and Joey proves why he had held that title for almost three months now”
JJ: “Either way, Hunter didn’t deserve to go down like this tonight”
****Commercial Break****
*As we all come back from the commercial break all 4 man from the Hardcore match are all brawling in the ring*
Tom C: this match has started about 5 minutes before it was due to start... this is wild!
*chair shot after chair shot, all 4 men are just loving this environment, lemmy then pulls out a baseball bat, wrapped in barbed wire, he then poors petrol on it and lights it on fire with matches near by under the ring, he hits sucky with it right on the head and catches his hair on fire, when he turns around ken smashes him with a steel chair that puts the hair on fire out and knocks him out!..1...2....3
*sucky eliminated, and after that lemmy pulls thumbtacks out from underneath the ring, he empty's them out on the floor and then body slams pyro on there, pyro gets up quickly running around in pain, BANG! chair shot, then a diving elbow off the top rope see's pyro out cold..1...2....3
*not long after lemmy pulls out a barbed wire board out and then lays it down, mean-while ken climbs to the top rope and lemmy goes right after him as lemmy goes up, ken try's to push him off but lemmy hooks his arms and belly to belly suplexes him off the top rope onto the barbed wire board!
(Crowed chant "DUE-dub repeatively)
*Kens body is just all calved up from the barbed wire.. lemmy goes for the pin.. 1...2....3
Ring announcer: and your winner.. Lemmy Campbell!

The following match is Matt Hare and Nightmare, it was a well fort out battle by both men, and it was always going to be a blockbuster and it was all about who will slip up first, and it was Matt hare who made the first mistake, nightmare took advantage and won the matchup to become the number 1 contender*

A shot on the titantron of Jonny Stripes is shown. He has got dress clothes on, instead of wrestling attire. His World Title is nowhere to be seen, probably safe inside the bag resting on his shoulder. He looks visibly upset and his words are choked, his breath fast as he speaks
Jonny: "I got some bad news tonight, some news that throws my very existence into turmoil. I won't be fighting tonight, won't be defending my title"
The crowd boo heavily in the background
Jonny: "Believe me, I wanted this to be over just like all of you. But Disturbed...Darren is detained and there isn't anything that anyone can do for him. Excepting myself. Its time to put it all aside. Whose the better man? One day we will know"
The crowd cheer slightly
Jonny: "Right now I am in a sticky situation but Darrens is 100 times worse. I have to face Nightmare next week. Thats tough enough as it is. Well I have two choices in regards to Dizzy. I can either let him rot in prison or I can help him out, cos God knows no one else will. Whats the use in being the better man when I could have a friend back. Its time I did what is right. I am coming for ya Darren. Hang on"
Jonny slowly walks away from the camera and the show fades out to JJ's last line
JJ: "What in the world is going on here? No title match? I guess we will find out on Sunburn"

JJ: “Well at least it’s a small measure of revenge for Julio”
Tom C: “And it looks like he wants to get some more here on Lover. Hang on, why is he putting him in the sharpshooter”
The referee turns around and goes up to Julio and rips him off Lover, breaking the hold. Julio shouts something at him and stands by the refs side. The referee grabs his arm and raises it in the air, instructing the ring announcer to announce him the winner
Ring Announcer: “And here is your winner and new number one contender for the Australian Title, Juliiiiiiiiiioooooooooooo”
Julio gets a wicked smile on his face and goes to the ropes as the referee leaves the ring. He leans over the ropes and shakes his head at the incredibly angry Bret and Jimmy Hart. Bret kicks the ring steps and begins ripping up the mats on the outside of the ring, before leaving in anger through the crowd as Julio celebrates to “Bodies”
****COMERCIAL BREAK****
King of Kings by Motorhead plays, as Hunter appears at the top of the ramp. Hunter stands there and looks at the ramp and sprays water high into the air as he looks up.
Ring Announcer: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the prize of the Australian championship. First the challenger tonight, making his way to the ring, weighing 270 pounds, this is Hunnnnnnter!”
Hunter makes his way down the ramp then stands on the apron and sprays water, before entering the ring and posing for the crowd
JJ: “This is a big night for Hunter, he gets a rematch for the title”
Tom C: “You gotta remember the guy is very new still but this is his second shot at a title for the second Pay per view running”
JJ: “Its true, Hunter has made great strides since he debuted a couple of months ago but I don’t know if he has enough in him to beat this man…”
"All Along the Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix plays around the arena and Joey Malone comes out, wearing green and red, half-length ring tights.
Ring Announcer: “And here is the champion, the 250 pound Joseph Maaaaaaaloooooooooooneeeeeeeeeeee”
Joey smiles arrogantly to the fans at ringside, stroking his title belt as it shines from the stage lights. He rolls into the ring and points at Hunter, before handing over his title to the ref
JJ: “This is going to be a physical match tonight and I think we are possibly going to see Hunter use his superior physique to beat the hell outta Malone tonight”
Tom C: “Are you kidding? To be good in the ring you can have 3 things: strength, speed and brains. Malone has all three and I tell you, Hunter has only got one”
Hunter and Joey approach each other in the ring and Joey starts talking smack to Hunter. Hunter calmly smiles at him, which only makes Joey angrier. Joey ends up shouting, “show me what you got boy”, and Hunter offers up a test of strength. Joey goes to lock hands and locks in one, but quickly lets go and slaps Hunter in the face
Tom C: “See, that’s Joeys brain kicking in. He is psyching that punk kid out!”
JJ: “You’re saying that Joey has a brain after he slapped a guy as big as Hunter?”
Hunter looks at Joey coolly, before cracking his neck on each side. He touches his cheek, cocks his head and then rushes Joey with some big time punches. At first Joey throws them back but soon Hunter overruns him and backs him into the corner with continuous punches. Joey grabs at his face but Hunter shows no remorse and Irish whips him into the opposite corner
JJ: “How dominant is Hunter…”
Hunter charges from one corner to the other but is met by a pair of raised boots to the face but is undeterred and quickly tries again but this time Joey dodges it and Hunter slams into the turnbuckle
JJ: “…time to eat my words”
Tom C: “It happens a lot around here”
Joey starts laying into Hunter with some wild right hands, before pulling him out of the corner, only to hit a quick jawbreaker to send Hunter right back into the corner.
Tom C: “There is that brains I was talking about. Nice work by Joey”
Joey goes back to grab Hunter again but Hunter smashes his knee into his stomach and whips Joey by his hair onto the ground. Hunter goes for the cover, but can only get a two on it. Hunter keeps Joey on the ground and locks in a modified crossface and holds it on
JJ: “This is good strategy by Hunter, he knows that he can keep this hold on Joey because he is stronger and he knows that with a hold like this, Joey can’t use his speed. Great strategy”
Tom C: “I’ll give him that, he knows what he is doing now, but earlier, he was all over the place”
Joey is slowly fading away and is trying to grab at the ropes to break the hold but can’t do so. Hunter pulls him even further into the middle of the ring and the ref asks if he wants to tap out but he doesn’t
JJ: “I don’t see what Joey can do here to get out of this. Sooner or later he will pass out”
Joey starts to struggle even more and after a little bit more he grabs the referee and pulls him to the floor. Hunter lets go of the hold to help the ref up but as he pulls him to his feet Joey rams into Hunter from behind and the ref goes flying through the ropes to the outside. Hunter turns around and Joey goes for the Napoli Cutter but Hunter pushes him away and into the ropes
JJ: “This is chaos here at ringside”
Tom C: “Tell me about it”
As Joey bounces back Hunter kicks him in the gut and pulls him between his legs. He shouts out for the Pedigree and begins to hook Joeys arms when Julio rushes the ring and blasts Hunter with a chair shot right between the eyes. Hunter lets go and stumbles back onto the ropes in a daze. As he stumbles back Joey jumps up and hits a Napoli Cutter. Julio drops the chair and pushes the ref back into the ring and the referee counts a very slow 3 to give Joey the victory and let him retain his title
JJ: “Joey Malone just cheated to keep his title again ladies and gentlemen, Hunter got screwed out of the title again by one of Joeys World Class Lineup mates”
Tom C: “Its called using your brain and Joey proves why he had held that title for almost three months now”
JJ: “Either way, Hunter didn’t deserve to go down like this tonight”
****Commercial Break****
*As we all come back from the commercial break all 4 man from the Hardcore match are all brawling in the ring*
Tom C: this match has started about 5 minutes before it was due to start... this is wild!
*chair shot after chair shot, all 4 men are just loving this environment, lemmy then pulls out a baseball bat, wrapped in barbed wire, he then poors petrol on it and lights it on fire with matches near by under the ring, he hits sucky with it right on the head and catches his hair on fire, when he turns around ken smashes him with a steel chair that puts the hair on fire out and knocks him out!..1...2....3
*sucky eliminated, and after that lemmy pulls thumbtacks out from underneath the ring, he empty's them out on the floor and then body slams pyro on there, pyro gets up quickly running around in pain, BANG! chair shot, then a diving elbow off the top rope see's pyro out cold..1...2....3
*not long after lemmy pulls out a barbed wire board out and then lays it down, mean-while ken climbs to the top rope and lemmy goes right after him as lemmy goes up, ken try's to push him off but lemmy hooks his arms and belly to belly suplexes him off the top rope onto the barbed wire board!
(Crowed chant "DUE-dub repeatively)
*Kens body is just all calved up from the barbed wire.. lemmy goes for the pin.. 1...2....3
Ring announcer: and your winner.. Lemmy Campbell!

The following match is Matt Hare and Nightmare, it was a well fort out battle by both men, and it was always going to be a blockbuster and it was all about who will slip up first, and it was Matt hare who made the first mistake, nightmare took advantage and won the matchup to become the number 1 contender*

A shot on the titantron of Jonny Stripes is shown. He has got dress clothes on, instead of wrestling attire. His World Title is nowhere to be seen, probably safe inside the bag resting on his shoulder. He looks visibly upset and his words are choked, his breath fast as he speaks
Jonny: "I got some bad news tonight, some news that throws my very existence into turmoil. I won't be fighting tonight, won't be defending my title"
The crowd boo heavily in the background
Jonny: "Believe me, I wanted this to be over just like all of you. But Disturbed...Darren is detained and there isn't anything that anyone can do for him. Excepting myself. Its time to put it all aside. Whose the better man? One day we will know"
The crowd cheer slightly
Jonny: "Right now I am in a sticky situation but Darrens is 100 times worse. I have to face Nightmare next week. Thats tough enough as it is. Well I have two choices in regards to Dizzy. I can either let him rot in prison or I can help him out, cos God knows no one else will. Whats the use in being the better man when I could have a friend back. Its time I did what is right. I am coming for ya Darren. Hang on"
Jonny slowly walks away from the camera and the show fades out to JJ's last line
JJ: "What in the world is going on here? No title match? I guess we will find out on Sunburn"
